02/03/2006...6 years later and I'm still here!!!!

Saw my onc last week for 6 month check up and all was well...we had a good chat....chat about how I may be doing well cancer wise being NED, but how I'm not the same person I was before Dx.....yes, its 6 years later, but I've never gotten back to the "old" me....Its so nice that he listened.

Had a bone density last week as well....its been 2 1/2 years since my last one....My numbers tanked for the spine....went done over 7% in that time and 13% since baseline 5 1/2 years ago....spine is now osteoporosis......(hip and neck are still osteopenic)so now waiting for call from PCP to find out what she wants me to do....Of course I know...go back on a biophosphonate....I had been on Actonel, but stopped after I stopped the AI's....And my labs all came back good....so NED continues to be my dance partner!!!!
