Hi fellow stage three friends! I'm try to find a chemo friend in common. :). I started on Taxotere, CH and had an anaphalatic reaction. I moved to Taxol, CH and had another reaction, so I won myself some Abraxane, Carboplatin, Herceptin. I also started out on every 21 days and now I am on weekly, ACH, then CH, then CH, then ACH again, no weeks off. I am also doing 21 weeks of treatment if you include the initial two, then Herceptin only for another 8 months. Anybody else out there? Side effects haven't been too bad so far, diarrhea and nausea due to crazy stomach acid, but I think I finally have it under control.

    What a difficult time you have had with the chemotherapies.  I'm sorry you have had to endure this.  I'm glad the latest one is working so much better and that you have the side effects under control now.  I don't think this protocol was used in 2005 when I was treated, or at least I don't remember it being an option for me.  I wonder if it might be more common with Her2+.  Have you asked on that forum, too?  Hoping for all the best for you, Julie.  Hugs, Gitane
