I'd certainly cover the breast area and your face ( to many wrinkles).  All in all, they say people should not use tanning beds. But if you're going to, I'd definately not tan my face or breasts.

Its awful being pale... maybe some nice foam self tanner? Neutrogena makes a nice one.

They're banning tanning beds in Australia - too many people are getting skin cancer/melanoma from them.

I wouldn't go near one. Get some nice bronzer instead.

The Neutrogena self-tanner is a nice lotion.  I use it during the summer on my legs.

I don't think tanning will hurt your mastectomy side.  It does cause cancer ... I just had basal cell and a small melanoma skin cancer removed from my chest.

I grew up in the sun in San Diego and I LOVED tanning.  I wish I knew to stay out of the sun when I was younger, as I'm paying the price now for all those years of tanning.

Bottom line is .. aside from the risk of skin cancer, I think you'll be okay to tan.

My mother passed away from melanoma.  Terrible terrible....

Try a self tanner.  They are way better than they used to be.

I went to tanning beds almost weekly for over 10 years, I loved being tan and hate being pasty white, since being diagnosed with BC in 2010, I will NOT go near a tanning bed.  I do NOT want cancer of any kind in my body ever again.  I would rather be pasty white and alive.  :)  That's just me though.
