Pimples

Is there anything that helps these gifts from steroids? I have at least a hundred pimples that have broken out over my face, neck, ears and throat in the past few days. Not to,mention the ones that were already over my chest.

    I asked and my MO just said use a mild soap....I didn't get them on treatment 2-4, just on the first.

    They face ones appeared between treatments 4&5. There are so many I actually hoped it was a rash ..lol. Onc just said mild cleanser also, but I was already using one

    I want to say she also said there was a prescription wash she could give me but since they only happened the first time I never asked for it. Not sure where you live but it is just starting to get very warm where I live.  Could it be a heat rash?

    No, definitely pimples, white heads and all... I feel like I'm 14 again! Wrinkles and zits together are no fair!

    I got some major acne also.  So far nothing has helped.  I even got one of those really nice exfoliating brushes, but it hasn't made a significant difference.  My onc from MDA gave me an RX for it, but when I got it and read the ingredients... I decided not to use it.  Don't like the idea of added parabens and whatnot.  Sorry for not having more info. Mine started on weekly taxol and has continued through the FAC.  I had acne as a teen but never back and chest acne or on my cheeks like I get now.  :(

    I am on Tykerb and struggle with the constant acne as a result.  I saw a dermatologis on the Dr. Oz show a few weeks ago recommend a bar soap for acne called PanOxyl.  I got a bar at Walmart and have been using it for about two weeks and it seems to be helping.  Be sure you use an old towel when drying your face and don't drip it on your clothes as it will bleach them out.  (I typically use it at night when I am undressed before I put on my gown so no clothes to worry about.)  I also use Clindamycin gel.
