Sacphotomom:  Foot in mouth  Exactly!  Time means more than dealing with JUNK in our lives!  Leanna9:  Wow!  That is one of those WILD moments when you put that together.  Hope all is well with everyone.  We've spent another long day trying to clean out clutter from my mother-in-law's home.  WHEW!  We are tired!  SOO much stuff  . . . she let things come into the house but apparently sent VERY little out.  She lived there 50 years -- lots of stuff.  I pray I never hoard things!  My own mother has clutter too.  What is with that thinking?  Hugs to you all!

Going for an MRI in the morning... of the left breast... saw my onc on Friday and she felt a lump that I had not felt.  Weird... I do BSE all the time... funny thing is, that I do them in the shower, and this lump was not really palpable when I was standing, but only when laying.  So, any of you ladies that still have your boob or boobs... please do BSE while standing and laying!!!  Scared the crap out of me that I had not felt it already, and it feels pretty big!!  They did a mammo that was clear (doesn't mean anything to me because I have dense breasts, and my mammo in 2010 was clear too), and they did an ultrasound and said they believe it is just a fat lobule.  So, I will let you know how it goes!!

Leanna- a fat nodule sounds good right know, doesn't it! I'll be thinking about you today as you go for your MRI and praying it's nothing more than that.

I have dropped by on the boards here and there but it's usually not when I have time to give an update (like now). I'll get on when I get home later.

Sending a big hug to each of you, my warrior sisters! I think of you often. -Daiva

YEA! Leanna !     OK finally had all my 6 months test done all clear! whoop!

OK I have something to tell you I was reminded of when Kim  told about cleaning out  her M-I-L 's house.  When my Auntie died a few years ago. I was at her house waiting for the funeral home to come get her body.  When they got there they asked me to go get what she was to be buried in.  After asking my uncle what or if she had mentioned it he said not at all . So I went and found a pretty dress. Gave it to the funeral guy and he asked for panties, bra, slip and shoes.   I'm thinking Wow really?  I went and got them but was kinda grossed out on the condition of her undies and bras... Then I remembered that she hated wearing bras and underwear.  So I told the funeral guy this and he said he would take the items but, let her go natural.  No one noticed!

When I was told about my cancer one of the first thing I did was go buy new underwear and a couple of bras.. lol didn't know then that I wouldn't need the bras!   I also cleaned out all my drawers and started cleaning out some of my things so everyone wouldn't have to deal with all the junkie stuff. I had chosen to be cremated way before any of this,  but told my DH that for if they have any kind of viewing, to let me be comfortable in  Jeans and a sweater no bra no undies no shoes ..I mean really who see the feet anyway!  He was upset with me to be even thinking of it.

You know I'm still cleaning out stuff. I have years of old negative and things that I was working on in the darkroom for practice,  for me that is just trash now. I did save some things but with digital , I have been scanning all my old prints and stuff that  I have sold. So at least there is some record of them. Did save some of the old negs of stuff I sold just in case some one might find them important.

ok rambling way to much again.  ..

PS Hired a new trainer and loving him .. only thing is I think he thinks I'm going to break.  He only mentioned one time that his mom had a scare and she now does her mamos on time each year! He is so happy she does.

Have a great week ladies! and Happy Valentines Day!

Leanna9:  This is a time when "fat" means very happy!  :)  Relieved to hear that as well as Sacphotomom's having all clear.  Sacphotomom:  Your story made me laugh!  Yes, good points about cleaning out JUNK -- thinking of others seeing some junk -- we'd rather not having hanging.  Of course when we are at the PEARLY GATES, we won't be caring!  :)  I imagine it did scare your husband to hear you say that.  I can't remember specifics but I hinted at something like that during my stress time to my husband he responded in the same fashion.  HUGS and HAPPY dance for everyone's good health!  My curls are starting to leave.  :(  I had gotten attached to them.  :)  Still got some but not so much in the front as I keep trimming it because it gets too heavy.  SO glad to say I have "Hair issues."  LOL

Denise... Funny I have been cleaning out since diagnosis too... Don't want others having to deal with that. On a like note... I have chosen o be cremated as well... I don't want a viewing... Just a picture of me.

My onc also found me to have a prolonged QT on my EKG. Had a repeat and it is still long. They took me off the Neratinib clinical trial and are considering a cardiology consult... My onc is out of town. I'm not on any other meds that could prolong it... Told everyone at work (hospital) if I keel over... Put the pads on and shock me!!!

QT is the amount of time between the Q and T segments of your hearbeat (your heart beat has PQRST waves)... the QT is repolarazation of the heart after a heart beat.  This is the condition that you hear of when professional/high school athletes... otherwise healthy, drop dead from!  Normal for a woman is below 440... I have had 2 over 460... and an uncorrected over 500!  Ugh!  My onc is out of town.  The Neratinib clinical trial rep said prolonged QT is RARE... and asked for a cardiology consult... not sure if I mentioned they took me off the Neratinib (oral herceptin, which is cardiotoxic).  I am not taking any other drugs that cause prolonged QT (mostly psych drugs... seroquel, haldol).

Hello my ladies. I didn't write much again, I've been battling a very bad sinus infection.

Anyway, Monday I had a CT scan with contrast and several things are a little worrisome. I have a few very small (2 mm and 3 mm) micronodules on my lungs, and a worrisome enlarged inguinal node. AND atherosclerosis. For which I totally blame the AIs. I saw the oncologist today and he kind of brushed off all of this and said these are often found in people who have no cancer, i.e. they are benign. But I am still worried as the lung micronodules are "ground glass" and by what I have seen researching online that is the kind that usually is malignant. And I found that mets in the inguinal lymph nodes aren't that rare.

Anyway, he said he will see me again in 3 months and will do another CT scan in 6. I also called the BS onc. (who is the Big Chief in all this) and will see what he says when he sees the scan (in was done in the same center he is so he has access to it in the database).

    Wish me luck.

Well, he said that things are too small to get really worried, but as he hates anything "new" he is ordering a PET scan to be on the safe side. The PET scan machine they have at the new cancer center here at the OU is one of those super-sensitive ones, there are only two in this area of the state, at this center and at my oncologist's center. My oncologist was explaining yesterday that these can "see" as low as 2 mm while the older generation machines only down to 5 mm.

That's great Day! My markers hover around 27 and my MO says the range is 0-30, I sometimes wonder what it means to be near the "top" of the range but I choose not to think of it too often LOL

    Good luck tomorrow!!

    Thank you!

I just got back from the pain management specialist, I am going on Lyrica for now for the fibro, and we'll see how that goes.

And of course, even with everything that's going on, I am still going nuts when it comes to my garden. I stopped on the way home at Big Lots (to get eggs and stuffers for an event we're organizing here) and of course I had to buy more plants! They had dormant plants there, so I got a couple butterfly bushes and some lily of the valley. And a few tiny solar garden lights and a totally adorable toad holding a rain gauge. Just finished planting those and setting the lights and the toad, popped in a pain-killer and now I'm having some European cookies for lunch as I skipped breakfast. Ok, I know they got sugar, but I need some comfort food, lol.

Hey there everyone looks great!  Yea about 2yrs,my boss was saying the other day that is hard to believe that I went through everything I did . And I am back! Working like I never left.

I too have  good feeling about getting projects on the way. Only thing stopping me now is daughters wedding, getting ready for that, trying to remember that money is going to that right now!  lol.. Having fun getting garden mags now and new seeds.

Even though I feel like I'm not doing much its fun! Just had her shower in Irvine CA and it was so fun.  Really feels like a wedding is coming!

Day so glad everything is alright!   I keep saying I'm gonna put up a new pic and forget to take it Day and Kim your hair looks great! so full of body!  Mine is still very curly and I need to pull it back on the sides and or straighten in .  I just realized yesterday that I can actually put it in a pony tail,  YES!

It feels so good to feel good!

OK going on and on again   Have a Great Week!
