Bonfire of the Goddesses

ok I know Im alot of pages back but I just watched some of the beer pong video. I had to pause because I couldn't stop laughing at the part where you need 2 cups of water to clean the ball off. I'm sorry but I guess it comes from working with to many rednecks, but they sure wouldn't waste a red solo cup on water thats for sure. Heck I think they give the 5 second rule a new name.

What's the E-lab thread? sheila
-
STRESS, WORRY, ANXIETY, DEPRESSION....TOSS THEM ALL INTO THE FIRE...DOING ME NO GOOD....ONE DAY AT A TIME!!!!!!
-
Sheila, the E-lab is a thread for fitness. We are on teams, and support each other to do healthy lifestyles, like exercising, drinking water, weighing in (you don't have to post your weight, but many do to keep themselves honest). The team I am on seems to have a lot of recalcitrants, i.e. not showing up! I know a couple come here, so I am trying to gently nudge them back - come join us if you want! It's another great group of women.
-
Barbiecorn, I know I should toss the same things in AGAIN... why do they just seem to rise like a phoenix every time I toss them in??? Today, I am thinking of you all, warming myself in the sunshine that is as gentle as our warming fire, listening to the birds, lawn mowers in the distance - small "moments of grace" that make this 24 hours worth being here.
-
I understand Linda...I am tired of people feeling sorry for me too....this is all so new to me...so I am going to toss into the fire all the "Oh, I'm so sorry" that have been said to me or my husband...I know they mean well...but I am burning them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'm DONE with 33 rads treatments as of yesterday - wahooooo!!!!!!! I saved the rads stickers as they came off in the shower today - then threw them into the toilet ritualistically, cheered, and FLUSHED them away forever! I should have thrown them into the fire, but damn, the toilet was calling me. LOL
-
Yippeee!!! Congrats.... Dancetrancer! Barbecue at the Bonfire today will include happy dance AND because it's St. Patty's Day.... BEER PONG in your honor!

-
Sheila! That's some typo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL! a BEER "BONG"....... Would that be a marijuana pipe filled with green beer??????????????????? I am a VERY bad girl today!
-
Well in my younger days , we used to put a wee bit of water in the bottom of the bong and the smoke would bubble through, Am I having a faulty memory?
-
Awesome kingjr - keepin' the fire stoked for you! Only 2 more!!!
-
LOL VR!!!
-
Ahhh! Sheila! Sounds like you have a crystal clear memory! Just a Freudian slip!!! LOL!
-
DID I HEAR SOMEONE SAY......................CHOCOLATE VODKA...............YUM, YUM,...........................
-
DT, congrats!!!! You have come a long way, baby!
-
My DH was eating chocolate and offered me some. Oh, no, says I virtuously. He left it on the table next to me.
Throwing in my lack of willpower. And the empty wrapper.

VR what was the Freudian Pong versus BONG. WE did call it a bong versus Pong. But that was 70's and before. Is it now called a Pong?
-
You guys are cracking me up!! Jo and Dance....so happy for you both! No more zapping!
I need to warm my toes by the fire. I'm having a hard time moving on as I approach my one year diagnosis anniversary. Visits with Gyn. for annual exam, breast MRI, and follow up with BS are all on my schedule for next month. I'll be so glad when they are all behind me and hopefully breathing a sigh of relief with clear results. I'm ready to throw my growing anxiety into the flames! All of my talk about living in the moment and staying present are hard for me to do sometimes. I'm trying though.....
-
Sheila... I guess back in the day we had bongs filled with beer and they would be called beer bongs. But nowadays the college students enjoy beer PONG instead! That's a beer game played with a ping pong table.....
