I have. Back in IL, I served as the chairman of a political party in our town for 12 years. That party was not divided by Dem vs Rep but every party was a mix of both. When I took the reins, we were a new enthusiastic group out to set the world afire.....and we swept the elections every two years. 12 years later the spark was gone but it was fun while it was going on.
