I'll be flying to Chicago late April in order to get first time appts with various medical people before making a full relocation there sometime in June/July. Does anyone have recommendations for LE therapists I might visit there?  We will be centrally located in the city to start with, but I'm glad to travel if needed.

    How about asking Dr. Marga Massey's office if they can tell you to whom they refer patients for LE eval and therapy?  Also, she's doing one of her free symposiums on April 28, a Saturday.  My guess is that there will be a variety of Chicago LE networking opportunities through that.  If you go to her website, you'll find the information. I'm too pooped at this late hour (midnight) to look up the URL, but I know you can find it easily enough.  I'll be at her symposium, but I live three hours away in Michigan, so I do not have any Chicago LE therapist ideas for you.

    Carol, you read my mind! I think Dr. Massey would be an excellent resource. I'm attending her conference in DC this weekend and really looking forward to it. Here's her website address:

    KC: Joe Feldman is an LE specialist who operates out of Northshore Hospitals in Glenview and Evanston, he's listed in the LANA directory--he's an MD, and he should have a referral base of LE therapists.

    Hope the relocation goes smoothly.

    Thanks, y'all.  I knew I could get ideas from you!  I might be in town that weekend she's doing the Chicago symposium.......hmmm....

    kcschreve, if you decide to go to the Chicago symposium, let me know, as I will be there. Early in my LE journey, I benefited a great deal from some of your posts, and I would love to be able to say thank you in person.

    kc, you might want to PM jeskachi. She lives in Chicago, has had flap surgeries by Marga. She may be a good resource for you as you relocate and look for your new healthcare team!
