I am also on my second recurrence and will be starting weekly Taxol in a couple of weeks. Mine is in and behind my sternum and in the lymph nodes right up to the neck and I am five years out from my first recurrence and 9 years from initial dx, so our situations are a bit different, but I can empathise with the emotional side of having to go through all this again. Have you posted in the Just Diagnosed with recurrence or mets forum? You may get more response from people with a similar diagnosis to your own. Feel free to PM me if I can help with anything. Sending gentle (((((((hugs))))))), Angelfalls xx

So if a lump is found after mastectomy and reconstruction with silicone implants, do they do a surgical biopsy? (after ruling out a cyst), or is there a way to do a needle biopsy? I found a lump, guessing its just fat or whatever, but need to be sure that it is nothing. Its highly unlikely since my diagnosis was DCIS, but my sister died from a very aggressive breast cancer years ago at age 44, and I can't be sure about anything now.Anyone ever have a new type of cancer after having DCIS and mastectomy? Yes, I know I don't have any breast tissue, but from what I read, there is always a chance of cancer in the skin or chest wall.
