Beyond the wonders of Science...our prayers are still the best recourse.

This is a tribute to all those fighting and to those who have gone ahead including my mom, Sally, who stood by her faith 'til her end on April 12, 2011. We miss you a lot.

You know personally - I don't need this in stage IV. I'm not fighting and I'm really not planning on going anywhere and I really don't need to be told what is beyond the wonders of science.

If you want to say how much you miss your mom, this would be better in another forum. I'm kinda tired of being put on a pedestal because I'm getting up everyday.

I'm sorry you lost your Mom; I believe you meant well in posting and have no problem being identified as a fighter or heroic.  I happen to work someplace where I've been treated like my illness is nothing more than a mild cold and they were working on getting rid of me.  It is nice to know that what I'm going through is more than that and that my getting out of bed everyday to come and work at this God-forsaken Hell  means something greater than me, even if others don't want any part of that description.

I hope they inscribe on my tombstone...Here lies a FIGHTER!

I'm sorry you lost your mother, it must be awful.

This post would be better suited to the Spiritual and Religious forum. Sorry, but in my world prayers aren't any kind of treatment against breast cancer. I'll stick with the science!

I am also so sorry you lost mom.  I pray quite often and ask god for the strengh to continue to fight this disease because sometimes it actually feels like a battle. I know its hard for everyone here and how we continue to go on is probably different for every one of us.

I don't see how prayers and positive thoughts can hurt, so I say.....bring 'em on.

There is so much about this damn disease that is just awful, so any bit of positive than can be injected, is aces in my book.
