I am so scared.

Pure
Many times after surgery our Lymph nodes will swell due to the surgery it just happened to me after my 4th recon surgery 4 years later.
-
I had one come up when I was still on chemo. It was a cyst/seroma likely from the SNB. They did an US and aspirated what ever it was.

(((Hugs))) Jen,
Breathe and call the onc tomorrow and have it checked out. Until you do you'll be poking and feeling it, which will probably make it worse or keep it from going down if it's just swollen. It's hard not to worry about this kind of stuff though. I get worried about every new ache and pain so don't be hard on yourself. Just get it checked out ASAP for your own peace of mind.
Love,
Sharon

((((((((((((((((((((Jen)))))))))))))))))))))))...I echo what the other gals have said....call your onc, your BS or the PS and see what they say.....and have them see you ASAP for peace of mind....I"m sure its nothing serious......

Sending you hugs and prayers. Not knowing is the pits. Maybe wait a week and if there's no change make an appt. to see your onc.

Hi Jen, " round and moveable" in the axilla shortly after surgery is quite normal.
Breathe, dear girl. Call your Onc, (but it doesn't have any of the characterizations of anything to be concerned about)
Enjoy the new you!
-
Jen, I agree (Breath.............................. This does not alarm me, I think you are having some lymph swelling after surgury. Call onc. you are in my prayers for peace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugss

Thank you Guys:) My surgeoun called me and said I probably have a seroma. He said a golf ball size tumour doesn't pop up overnight:)
I just had my last drain out on Thursday so the fluid probably collected. He said I may have to have it drained but for now we shall see if my body absorbs it:)
Thank you for your supportive and kind words.
-
Glad it's nothing, I have one from my BMX and they can be tender, Mine can't be drained and it seems to have gotten better with time. Let us know how it goes.
-
Hi Pure, Glad that things are good, Sorry that you still have pain with the seroma. I wish your little one a belated birthday. They grow up so fast. SharonH
-
good Jen.
best wishes to you!
-
Jen ... glad to hear it's more likely to be a seroma. Those, however, aren't fun. I lost count of the number of times I had to have them stick needles in me to drain fluid. Painful! Still much better than what you were thinking!!
Good luck with it and please check back and let us know how you're doing!
