ANNIVERSARY/ 18 Year Survivor
Hello Family, this is msphil just wanted to drop a line to let you All know next week December 17 th, I will be a 18 year cancer Survivor(Praise God), I pray for Us daily,my journey and trials started on Sept 30, 1993, when I found my lump, I was in the process of making wedding plans, I worked at a clinic and went into work and had a surgeon friend do a needle biopsy, and I knew from the look of him and my nurse buddy it was not good news, I could have had a Lumpectomy but my husband and I agreed the mastectomy would give me better option for long term survival, so here it is 18 yrs later (praise God) and I never gave up HOPE that I would survive, and I also spoke it, each day "I will live and not die," so I just wanted to share with all BUT especially for those Just Diagnosed and those who feel down this Holiday Season, BELIEVE. God Bless, Love and Hugs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)(idc, stage 2, 3 nodes invovled, L mast with reconstruction but body rejected it,chemo, rads and 5 yrs on Tamoxifen.

waitress169, I am humbled to be able to help others going thru, because I do indeed want them to know it is possible with Faith and HOPE and lots of Positivity, God bless and I pray for Us ALL. I had a lady call me and tell me that I actually help save her life, she was contemplating suicide, I cried as I read the letter she then sent me, I made a difference and when I Inspire just one person then my wish is fulfilled. msphil (idc, stage 2, 3 nodes, chemo and rads, L total radical mast, and 5 yrs on Tamoxifen.

I was a young woman when diagnosed , and now I am a senior, still I get the invites from the Young Women cancer association , sometimes I forget I had BC, till I take my clothes and my scars remind me that I owe a lot to God.
I get scared when I go for my exams, but I do not let my guard down. I have tried to give back my good luck, I am an activist and advocate fro BC and work at a Cancer Center.
I do not forget all my sisters that lost their lives in battle and many that gave me support and held me when I felt bad. To them and all of you thanks.
