Testimony

Our church has a healing service the first Sunday night of the month. My pastor asked me if I'd give my testimony about healing & my bc, so I said "sure!". Well, as mouthy as I am on here, you'd think talking in front of my church family would be no big deal to me. Go figure. Anyhow, I got up there, with my typed pages and gave my testimony on the ways God has healed me physically and spiritually during this whole adventure. It was nice, and I'm glad I did it. Just wanted to share that with you all.

God bless,
Rachel

Good for you Rachel. Our church has a Contemporary Service twice a month. And I love it when someone gives a testimonial. We all learn from them and I always admire a person for sharing their stories. You must have touched alot of people tonight.
    Many Blessing to you!

Thanks for your support ladies. I just told God to help me be concise & make sense, not to ramble too much. I tried typing it out to keep me on track. LOL God is sure good, when I actually took a breath and looked up, I saw peoples face staring intently on me, nodding and smiling ...if they were spacing out and not listening, they hid it well. LOL Actually, a few people told me they really enjoyed my testimony, and another guy sent word thru my DH last night. He said I set the whole feeling/theme for the night. That was really cool, and it felt so good, while I was doing it. Like I needed to get this out there, officially, instead of sporadically at work or on here. Does that make any sense? And isn't it obvious how much God put the words in my heart and in my mouth??? Apparently, what I said, while standing up there, made sense...as opposed to some of my posts.....LOL And I love laughing at me, not a complaint there either. Life is good, no matter what.

    God bless you all, Rachel

Rachel, that's AWESOME! The Lord has been speaking this to me as well. My pastor's wife asked me weeks ago to get "up there" and give my testimony. Like you, though, I feel I need to write it out and read it, in case I forget part of it. Those so much incredible blessing surrounding me and my cancer, I don't want to leave anything out. I'm going to start writing TOMORROW - you've inspired me. God bless you!

    Rachel,
That is so great! I truly consider my BC a blessing, I have tried to rid my life of things that brought me down, and filled my life with things I truly value. God redirected my life, he did it not me. I am so truly grateful for his lessons.
