Are there any seniors with HER2+ and what treatments have you done?

    I am not quite a senior at 57; I was diagnosed at 55 in 2010. my tumor was 1.5 cm, t1c,0/20 nodes,  E+ PR- and Her2+.  They removed it all with the lumpectomy. I was still given TCH  and Herceptin for 1 year. Now I am on Anastrozole; generic for  Arimidex for 5 years.

    I was sick the first week of chemo, but the following weeks got better. Very doable. The Herceptin caused some joint pain, that was treted with Aleve. When you consider that you are given only one chance to treat it, to  keep it from comming back,  don't skip or quit treatments because of some discomfort or pain. Keep going.
