Tuesday!
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to let you all know I am scheduled for my mastectomy on Tuesday 28FEB. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I just want everything to go well and come out on the other side more or less putting this behind me. I don't post much but have lurked around and find all of your stories inspirational and informative. I don't know what I would have done without this site, as it has given me so much information and great advice. So.....here we go!

Hi Ladies....well here I am, posting from my bed, my compression bandages in place, my drains doing there draining thing...sore, but alive and in spite of everything feeling pretty good! Your thoughts and prayers meant the world to me and I truly believe helped me get thru. I will keep you all posted on the recovery process.

So glad you are on the other side! congrats! My surgeon told me to occasionally point my toes down, like stepping on the gas in a car, to help keep lower leg circulation strong and possibly prevent blood clots. You might want to try that.
Take everything easy and I hope you have a smooth recovery!
