Happy Humpday everyone... hello to the newbies (I'm an "oldie" & pop on every blue moon).
Just thought I'd say hi!
BJ - I have an appt. with Dr. Brown in April

Spunky - funny you mentioned the pointsettia! I was just watering mine a moment ago. Those are some hardy plants.
I truly can't remember what I wrote the last time I posted, but I did have my MRI & they said they cannot see what is causing all of this chest pain. Oh well.. what can ya do ? Pop an advil, cross your fingers, and hope for the best

Feels like Winter has decided it wants to be a part of our lives now that it's almost March..hmmm. Well, I can't complain, it's been a very nice Winter (never thought I'd hear those words come out of my mouth).
Take care of yourselves & I hope today finds you feeling OK!
Julie (aka Princess Juliet)

P-Julie.....you are a walking dichotomy -- sorta good not to find anything, but....then you don't know how to fix what you can't find. Still, I'm bummed for you and would like for you to have gotten an answer. Good to hear from you though. If it makes you feel better.....I don't remembet what you wrote last time either
Hope you had a fantastic day anyhow.....and that winter doesn't last too long.
Hugs, Jackie

SO... I'm registered for a Relay for Life event in June (22) out in the burbs (Kane county Cougars Stadium).... if anyone wants to put it on their calendar to come out and walk with us, or just come on out for an hour or two (and bring me a coffee!) I welcome you all!!
I'm walking in it to celebrate how far I've come.... it'll be almost exactly one year to the date since my BMX (June 14, 2011) so what better way to celebrate than to raise money to help someone else.
) And actually, it's more for my kids and family than anything.... they say the "survivor" stories are amazing and it's reassuring for my family to see so many (cancer survivors) in one place!!!
On another note.... BOO to this weather, I hope we don't really get the 6-9" as predicted! I have a pre-op appointment in the morning with my PS plus dinner with you lovely ladies!!!

-
Yikes! 6-9"?? I thought I heard 2"!
madismommy719 - I just put it in my calendar! -
I still don't see any snow here in Chicago. That's a lot of snow to come down in a short period of time. My husband says it's still pretty warm out too.
-
I'm sitting here at my daughters dance class with my i pad playing some "oldies" and I'm listening to my wedding song....which I haven't listened to in ages....WOW, over 10 years later and it still makes my heart full! I'm so glad I revisited the memory!

-
Thanks ladies! I will update when I can, immscared to death, but if you all got through it I can too!
-
Best wishes to KATIE!
-
Katie we were all scared. It's much better once it's done. Remember all this unknown is what seems to be the scariest. Not sure if you are reading this but if you are we'll see you here I'm sure an a week or less. You'll be surprised what you are able to do once you go home. You'll be very tired for a while.
-
Thinking of you today Katie.
Ha! Of course it snows!
-
Life itself is like a light, a beacon that will shine through everything and tell you exactly what to do in all situations. All you have to do is let it - by letting go of your limiting beliefs. Once they are gone, you yourself will shine!
~ Soren Lauritzen ~ -
We all went though the scary doors......and here we are. Hang in there Kate.
Hugs, Jackie
p.s. Jenn. There is almost nothing like it.....being able to go back in time and recapture many of the truly special things. Good for you.
A big hi to everyone else.....hi to WendyTY.
Hugs, Jackie
-
Good morning girls. It looks like we got a pass on the snow storm, not even an inch out here.
Hugs to you Katie.
-
Same here Katie. I had a feeling it wouldn't be too bad. My neuropathy heel wasn't bothering me that much yesterday… chemo gave me the ability to predict storms better than Tom Skilling
