Radiation - Starting soon

Hi,

I will be starting radiation in couple of weeks , I am very nervous  on  about what to expect  (if it is going to hurt , sores and other side effects) . Can you ladies please share your experience on what I need to be watch out for?

    Zoe,

    Radiation was easier then chemo or surgery. You will probably burn a little like sunburn. It depends also on if they are going to do high dose or not. I had high dose because I had left over stuff after surgery that could not be resected.

    If you are young and healthy you will not likely have any open sores. You didn't give us much info to go on.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am 45 yrs old , will be completing my chem (4 x AC followed by Taxol 12 weekly ). I have not yet had my formal consultation with my RO yet so not aware of dose intensity. I am schedule for the appointment on Mar 5th , should be finding out more then.
