The Waiting with Medicad
The waiting is the worse. I had just found out I have Breast Cancer on Dec.9.. Finally got medicaid papers on Dec.21 and mailed them back the same day.. My Mom had Massive Heart Attack on dec.22 and passed away Dec28.. Now I am a wreck. was approved for medicaid last week now I am waiting for them to appriove the body scans the Dr.wants done before he starts treatment or does Surgery.. Although He did put me on Arimidix(sp) Soon as Body scans are done I go i n to talk about possible treatments and surgery.. He wrote out his process that he does before he did the Bigger. Biopsy. on the 14th....
My nerves are a wreck but I am trying to stay as calm as possible....I know I can beat this it is just going to be a little tougher without my Momma..

i went thru some hell about medicaid too but wanted to send a hug your way ...you are not alone in this tho i am sure that you feel that way after the loss of your Momma.

Finally went for scans last Thursday Now waiting for surgeon to review them and call with Appt. hopefully this week.......

I am so sorry for your loss. How awful that you are grieving and living in high anxiety about your upcoming surgery. I am saying prayers that all scans are negative and your surgery goes well.

So sorry for the loss of your mother. They are irreplaceable.
I don't know what your spiritual beliefs are, but I believe she is watching over you, and will guard over you through all this.

Thank you .. Scans came back kind of good Only Cancer in Left breast.. I go Tuesday to talk options with dr

Thanks Things have been wild.. I have Surgery Tomorrow morning.. Remove left breast....I will be glad to finally get it off. It seems I've been waiting forever...I have Triple Negative Breast Cancer. So I will probably have to have some Chemo treatments Dr. Said......
