Anyone have mets to colon? How did they present themselves?

Options

Over the past two months I have had episodic occurences of blood in my stool.  I have not had any other symptoms, except maybe alittle pressure in that area.  I saw an internal medicine doctor on Friday.  No hemmorhoids were noted during rectal exam.  So, my doctor has ordered a colonoscopy.  Has anyone had mets to colon/rectum?  If so, how did they present themselves?

Sorry you didn't get an answer.  I don't think mets to the colon is very common at all.  Lots of things can cause blood in the stool.  Here's hoping you have something benign and the colonoscopy is easy!

I got diverticula from chemo throughout my colon. It's caused from constipation. The most common area is the sigmoid and you would feel pressure in your lower left side. If a seed, nut, popcorn kernel gets stuck in one of the tics it can irritate it and cause it to bleed.

I believe that BC survivors are at higher risk for colon cancer, so it is good that you are getting a colonoscopy.  Hope that it's nothing!

My Oncologist told me there is no correlation between breast and later colon cancer (99% because it is so very rare).  That's what I was told anyway.
