Elizabeth looks great!
-
elizabeth, your hair really does look like a hairdo. it's as cute as can be!!
-
Elizabeth--lovely, shiny hair!
ksmatthews--I've been meaning to tell you that your hair looks wonderful, too!
This motivates me to try, once again, to learn how to hold that dang blow dryer and use more product in my hair.
-
mariel mine is curly like yours when I get out of the shower too. Good job on the straightening. Do you ever just where it curly. I blow mine out evey day.
elizabeth you look great your hair is growing fast.
-
Hey, ladies! Was thinking this morning.....I plant a vegetable garden every spring, and use Miracle Gro on it. It works really well! Think it would work on my head??? LOL
-
LOL Shelley.
Guess what I did yesterday!!! I parted my hair! I couldn't believe it!
-
Woohoo Heather! Isn't it funny how we track these milestones!!!
I'm right with you - a part and demi-bangs! The back is quite a bit longer and getting very curly, and I had it trimmed three weeks ago.
Let's see...I'm about 18 weeks PFC. Can't wait to get to Florida in early March. I am sure that sunshine makes it grow faster

-
Michelle, your hair looks amazing!! I don't know, I live in Florida and I don't think the sunshine is doing anything for my hair

-
Wishful thinking, maybe!!! Thanks Heather!
-
Elizabeth/ Luvrving You both look great.
Heather Yay for parting your hair.
I woke up with bedhead today.. Never knew you could get bedhead with hair this short

-
Heather, Congratulations on being able to part your hair. I remember how excited I was the first time I could do that.
-
heather, congrats on parting your hair! i never in my life thought i'd be excited about hair-parting!
michelle, probably not to you, but to me it seems like your hair is growing fast. i remember when you had no hair and look at you today! i love the curls in the back. you look great.
-
LuvRVing - your hair looks awesome!! I hope I have that much 10 weeks from now.

-
Caroll2 - I do sometimes wear it curly, but not as often anymore..Now that it is a bit longer it seems pretty poofy on the top even as short as it still is..When I do occassionally wear it curly, my husband usually makes a comment like, "i like it better straight"..lol..I only straighten the front and leave the back curly though.. I had such thick heavy hair before chemo I could just wake up and it looked perfect..Now I wake up and I look like I was in a windstorm with a bottle of hairspray.. But as I always say, if I am able to complain about my hair, its a good day..Originally I was buying products to keep it curly..and now I look for things to make it straight..It is amazing how much products you seem to need the shorter your hair is!
-
Wow LuvRVing..your hair looks great ! And so much for 18 weeks! I remember in the beginning I kept saying, I just want some bangs and to be able to make a part!
-
Im seriously considering buzzing off the white fuzz on my head that's been growing in since mid taxol. While I hate the thought of buzzing, its not healthy hair. Has anyone done this and found it helped normal hair to grow quicker? Or will the white fuzz just grow back after buzz? I just finished taxol on Wednesday and will keep getting herceptin.
-
Thanks, ladies! I think it grows slowly until I look back at the pictures from four weeks ago, and then I realize it's really growing pretty quickly. I've also had to recolor it every four weeks because I can really see the new growth, which is rather grey. It's nice to go out now and see ladies with hair that is "purposely" shorter than mine

Heather - my hair stylist says it's the prenatal vitamins...lol. I just think I've got really good hair genes.
YaYa - those curls are something! I used to complain because my hair was "sort of" curly in spots, wishing it were either straight or all curly. Hmmm...watch out what you wish for! I'm pretty sure I will have ringlets when it's long enough!
Shore1 - you might end up with more white fuzz for a few weeks after finishing Taxol. I think others have shaved off the fuzz...I just colored the fuzz. I didn't want to sacrifice anything once it started sprouting.
-
Thanks luvrving - your hair looks so great. Its inspiring to see your pictures, but I have no patience. I need to stop inspecting my head every day!
-
shore, I colored the fuzz too. And I obsessed in front of the mirror. I have the best friends in the world, they were kind enough never to tell me to stop texting them my bald head daily asking if it looks like it's growing yet.
Don't worry about inspecting your head. It will fill in soon enough, you'll see!

-
I did it! Wooo hooo! I was trying something far more complicated than the copy and paste. Oh ... check out the part!!!! 6 1/2 months PFC!

-
Woohoo MamaV!!! You look very chic!!! And yes, isn't it easy to do the copy and paste?
-
it's getting long, mamaV!! i love it.
-
Wow MamaV, a part!!! Love the dark colour. Very striking "do."
-
MamaV, You look wonderful!
-
shore - I took off the white fuzzy hair that looked like dust on my head. What came in after that was darker, and it actually looked like I had more hair afterward.
-
Looks great MamaV!!!!!
-
Momine, I really think you've got more hair than I did at eight weeks! looks good.
-
Wow momine, you have a lot more than I have at 9 Weeks. I'm jealous!
