Amoena Silicone forms "fuller" style 3
Browsing the Amoena website I noticed they grouped their forms by shape and there was a style 3, which was supposed to be a fuller shaped form. Has anyone used this or have any comments?
I have some silicone forms but don't love the drape, not perky enough, so I don't use them. But this Amoena one looked like something that might be fun. Apparently you can buy their forms in different shapes, 1,2,3 and they will go from a flatter form to fuller. SInce it all costs a lot I wonder if anyone has seen this style 3?
Thanks!

I once ordered an Amoena Natura with the fullest (3) shape. I think the style # was 391. I wanted it for the same reason you describe. I found that not only was it fuller on top, but it seemed a lot bigger than the same size form in an average shape. I returned it, though I considered trying it one size smaller. I kind of liked the full aspect of it. But the Amoena 2 shapes generally are pretty perky also, in my experience. Do you have an Amoena form now, or another brand? One brand that doesn't work well for me is TruLife--they have very little fullness on top (at least the styles I've tried).
If you're able to go to a store and try some of these on in person, that might be the best way to really see the differences.

Barbara,
Thanks for that info! My only silicone forms are TruLife, and I have always been dissapointed in the "droop" factor. I'm considering trying a new set of silicone forms this year (It has been 6 years this spring.) and I'm encouraged to try these Amoena forms and maybe find a size and weight I like. You continue to have wonderful, helpful info for us all!

Thank you for this! The ones I have are Trulife and I never use them as I dont find the shape so appealing. Now that I see others have this concern I better go visit the store and see some if these in real life. Sigh, last time I went to this store it was an uphill job, I must say. But now, knowing this information I think it will be more effective. Thanks!

Hi Dawn,
I hope you find something you really like. Even within Amoena, the shapes really vary, so hopefully you can find a retail shop that has a good selection. But compared to TruLife and even Silique, I've found some of the Amoena forms to be more perky. I also like some Anita forms, though they're harder to find. They're exceedingly soft (my DH thinks the most lifelike) and they mold a bit more to the shape of the bra than the others. But definitely Amoena has some of the perkiest forms I've found (other than Pals
).

Hi, Barbara!
Well, yes, PALs are the perkiest for sure, but when it comes to the hug test, silicone can't be beat. Since I've been wearing forms again daily (about 9 months), I'm having some nerve pain on the left side. It doesn't seem to matter which bra or forms I wear, the burning sensation is the same. I hadn't been having any trouble until the past few months, so I'm not sure what the problem is. It's not awful, and I have a pretty high pain threshhold, so I'm not ready to stop wearing them, but I do go without sometimes at home, just to get a rest. My natural shape in the old days was always bigger on top than on the bottom (and very dense), so these droopy forms don't look natural to me. Thanks for the encouragement, and for all you do!

I got the essential light 3E right and left breasts (fuller on the outside as well as on top) in a size 9, and she told me to flip them and wear the right on the left and left on the right. It's much better than anything else I've tried. I still prefer to wear the puff in a coobie bra though. Also, if you get the bra size that is recommended for the size form, the bra looks too big. I got a smaller cup size bra, and although the pockets stretch out along with the prosthetic, it looks much better when you have a shirt on.
