fake sleeve for unilateral?

Is there such a thing. Only one of my arms needs sleeve,is there such a thing as sleeve without compression to put on good arm to keep it warm in winter?

And can I order my own sleeves? Just went back to pt and she is ordering two for me. My insurance covers Flesh @100%. I'm sure they hate me and all my families issues

fredntan, I don't know if you can get a fake sleeve, but you can make a sleeve cover (and only use the cover on the healthy side) by using a pair of knee socks and cutting off the foot (or opening the toes if there's no curved heel).

Fran, Warrior Wear makes sleeve covers in a variety of colors and a couple of designs. You could buy two and wear one over your LE sleeve and the other without a sleeve:

I don't like to recommend sleeve covers because you have to be careful that they don't add unwanted compression, so if you buy them (or make them) be sure to check the fit on your LE arm with your therapist.

However, these are not likely to keep your arm warm -- in fact, I don't find that the LE sleeves keep my arm warm in winter either (though they certainly do in summer! Undecided ) So maybe what you really want is a pair of knitted arm warmers, like so:

You can indeed order sleeves for yourself, if you have your measurements. Companies I have liked are BrightLife Direct and Lymphedivas.

today I was given brochures for selecting a pattern from Lymphedivas, as my hospital has contracted with them for the sleeves.
