Laura, Yay! I am so happy you were able to get this corrected and that you are happy with the results. You have gone through to much to not be happy with your results!

Yay Laura! I'm glad he was able to get it fixed so quickly.
Met with the counselor and I really like her. Nothing like laying your life story out within an hour timeframe. I have another appointment in 2 weeks.
She did suggest I do something meaningful with my time so I signed up for 3 volunteer opportunities. I'm waiting to hear back about them. Go me!
Huge to everyone-love you all!
-
Good for you Kim !
-
How are you feeling today Kat ?

I am so happy to have this place to come & be with you all, My Beautiful Pink sisters, as we get close to the end of Janurary & I feel so Blessed to have had your friendship the last 2 years!
Hey I got an Ideal, I know Sally, Robin, Debbie , Laura, Kat & Myself are on Facebook, if any other let us know. I think it would be great if we could start a Group on FB "Team Jan" I am not that Tech talented, But if some one could start it, that way we can all share pictures etc. I have try to post picture on here, but most the time it doesn't work for me!
Have a Blessed weekend Team Jan, love ya, Gina
-
Laura I'm happy for you!
Kim, glad the counseling went well.
Gina, I don't facebook personally. I don't text, don't tweet, and barely use my cell phone! We even still have a rotary dial telephone and ony in the past 2 years went to non-dial up internet! I don't know if it is because I work on the computer all day at work or what, but I don't do a lot of on-line stuff.
Hope everyone has a great week!
-
Laura that's great that you were able to have the surgery done and you are please with the results. Not that you wanted to go for yet another surgery. I don't blame you for just wanting to finish right now. Give yourself some time and you may or may not even want to pursue the tatoos. It is your choice!
Kim, that must have been pretty difficult to divulge everything in one hour. Where do you even begin? Hopefully she can give you some help, sounds like she has given you some things to try already. I often thought volunteering can be so rewarding. It really makes you feel good about yourself somehow. Like the saying goes "It is better to give then to receive"
Kat I hope you are doing ok and your 2nd treatment is going as well as can be expected. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I also do not have a facebook account, so will have to send my regrets. I also work on computers alot at work and trying to keep up with many different email accounts.
Have a great weekend

Hi January SIsters! I want to thank everyone for being there for me 2 years ago. I was lost confused and I didn't know how to express myself. It was you girls that helped me through the rough time. We were all going through our stuff and you were there to help with decisions and explanation. I pray for all of us everyday. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
Kat----- How did it go this week. We are here for you. Hang in there.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

((((((((((((((Kat))))))))))))))))
Just read through all the posts since I was here last...... seems that you have been 'away' longer than usual. I'll have to go track down your FB and see if there's any news there.
This has been a HUGE week for me. We went from southern FL to New Orleans and on to Baton Rouge -- where I had a couple of presentations and a school visit. We are now back to southern FL for another 2 weeks of time share point using. Near the beach.
Robin. Hugs to your son.
Gina. Hurray on the test results.
Laura. So glad for your progress.
Kim. Glad that you've gotten proactive and have a good fit w counselor.
HUGS HUGS HUGS and more HUGS to the whole team. Don't mean to leave anyone out of the list. I read and pray for each of you as I read your posts. Just not as clever at keeping track of everyone -- as maybe I once was.
Yesterday on my blog, I shared a story of an amazing 'miracle' of a family and their child with extreme special needs. If you want a 'distraction' this is a heart-warming story that was documented on Oprah's medical miracles. I had one teeny-tiny part. It gives me reason to be amazed at what can happen with HOPE.
Here's the link: http://www.rainbowswithinreach.blogspot.com/2012/01/lion-lady.html
I hope that it offers encouragement as we move forward. One step at a time.

Hi J-team....Gina, I think there are enough of us to start a FB group....as long as it doesn't keep us from continuing joining up here, too. If we end up with too many groups, one group/some one might get neglected.....but I can go ahead and start the group. I don't mind at all. We can make several of us administrators so it doesn't fall to just one person. I DO have the hardest time posting pictures on BC.Org....and I do admit to "stalking" some of you all when I want to see what your famlies look like, or whatever
Anyway, glad to hear some good reports coming from around the country from everyone...
I have a praise report, too...my oldest son who has been engaged for the past 18 months or so to a girl who was possessive, self-centered, controlling, a negative influence, who lied to us, her parents lied to us, her parents went behind our backs to co-sign a $15K loan for our son (which thankfully did NOT go through!!!), and so much more ,,,,is now NO LONGER ENGAGED!!!! We are so thankful. We have been praying and praying, and haven't been able to say too much, as most of you know, the more you say, the worse it makes things. So, we had to just turn it over to God. Now we just pray that the engagement stays broken!!!!!!
Love, prayers, and blessings to you all....robin

Quick Update...I did start a FB group for us....it's called simply "J-team".
I tried to remember, off the top of my head (which probably isn't reliable) who is on FB....so I added you - six others besides myself - Kim, Kat, Debbie, Gina, Lynbob, Sally. I just now remembered Paula, so I'll go back and add you, Paula. If I have overlooked anyone, Please, please, please forgive me.....
I'm thinking Debbie's sandwriting "January Team" would make a cool profile picture.....if you all agree, maybe Debbie could add it
anyway, use it if you want...don't use it if you don't want...
g'nite!

Ughhhhhh! Yesterday out of nowhere an internal stitch released....the boobage still looks fine but something tore....or there is a nerve that is going nuts. I have the feeling of a hot tear or nerve pain running under my arm pit over the top of my shoulder and down my arm....it is possitional.....hurts a lot in certain possitions and almost pain free in others. I have had nerve pain before and it can take ages to feel better....but the tearing feeling is new. I think when the stitch released it may have torn through some muscle
I go see my ps tomorrow......I can't bear the idea of another surgery and hope that he feels this will heal and resolve itself in time......... I am so over all of this.
By today I should have been feeling pretty great
Best thoughts and hugs to all....xox....Laura.......
-
{{{Laura}}} I'm sorry this has happened. Hopefully tomorrow he will give you some good news and this will be temporary.

My sweetie dog, Sparkle, had a stroke today. We don't know her prognosis yet. She's at least 14, but we were just talking yesterday about how energetic she is and how she might have years left. We are sad, and very worried about her.
-
I'm sorry Elaine. I hope she will be ok. {{{Elaine}}}
-
((((Elaine)))) so sorry to hear about your sweetie Sparkle....I hope she is able to recover enough to have more happy time with you......so hard......wishing you all the best....prayers for ((((Sparkle))))
xox Laura and Smudgy's waggy tail.......
-
{{{Lola}}} Thinking of you and your family today.
-
I've had my follow up with my ps...he wants me to give the nerve time to calm down. He says that inflammed nerves will often settle down when given the time. The insicion is healing well..no infection and the shape is much much better. So I'm going to give a few weeks and see how it goes. I have had nerve pain before and even though it took a long time to resolve it did finally get better...cross fingers.
If in time it still is unbearalbe we will rethink surgery........I really would like to avoid any more surgeries =\
Lola thinking of you and Elaine hoping Sparkle is showing improvement......
My brother is now in hospice...not sure how long he has left....the doctors say he could last a few days or a few weeks..we just have to wait and see.......he is in SC with his son...I may go down for one last visit but Andrew really wants me to stay home with my surgery being just a week ago...arghhhhh.....I think I'll just crawl into a cave =P
As my husband says "bring on the joy!" life is sure rough lately........
Hugs and courage...healing to all....xox Laura
-
ps: love the new FB page...so easy to touch base with each other ♥
-
I agree with Andrew,
BRING ON THE JOY!!!!
I like it! I also agree, take it easy!
-
((((Laura)))) I'm sorry to hear the news.
(((Lola))) same for you.
On the last day of January, everyone has been on my mind today. Here's to movingn on toward year 3 and better times ahead for us all.
-
Laura.....Elaine.....Kat.....Lola.....bless your hearts......golly. Can't anybody catch a break around here???? argh.....Sometimes this journey called life has too many bumps, gullies, pits, and rough spots.......But, then there are those beautiful sunrises that go along with the gorgeous sunsets, and the lovely full moons, with the rolling seas.....the sound of a baby's first cry....and the thrill of turning on the Christmas lights for the first time....
hugs to all....blessings to all...prayers for all...robin
-
To add to Robin's joy list - I know it's a minor thing in all the *&*^% people are going through - but Sparkle is back on her feet. She lists to the left and keeps circling, but is eating, drinking and much steadier. Anti-nausea medicine and steroids have given her much improvement. Thanks for the prayers and thoughts.
I'm thinking of all of you.
Elaine
