I have had a heat/ mild burning sensation in my chest for a few months now.  It is in the middle of my chest, but also spreads across the upper portion of my chest.  It doesn't really hurt, it is just a weird tingling kind of heat/mild burning sensation.  I should add that my chest does feel a little "fuller" that it has, but, I have put on about 5 lbs. This weird sensation happens on and off throughout the day.  More annoying than anything else.

I had Bilat diep surgery back in March of 2011.  I talked with my PS to see if it was nerves repairing themselves, but he didn't seem to think it would happen this late.  I also talked with my Onc as well as my Naturopath Onc and both didn't seem to be concerned about it being Cancer (because you know that is where you go with weird things happening).  Both my oncs thought it was surgery related.

So, I was curious if this could be a mild form of lymphedema in my chest or truncal area?  I did have problems with a mild case of lymphedema in my arm last year, but currently, my arm is fine.  I frequently measure my arm and the measurements are the same.

Any thoughts or has anyone experienced these same weird sensations. Trying to move on with my life and not worry so much about cancer coming back is difficult when this weird stuff happens throughout the day.  :(

Thanks,

V

I have sorta the same feeling in mine. I had my rt mast in sept. I just went back to PT lucky me has deleloped some very mild cording in affected arm. she said its rare. I've almost got my full ROM back and it feels like its a battle every day to keep the ground I've gained on the ROM

IDK if this helps you. Its just a small amount of burning in mast area/inner arm.

Thanks Fran, it does make me feel a bit better to hear someone else is experiencing these strange sensations.
