Psychic
So I was getting ready to go out of town last weekend when my sister sends me a text and says you're not going anywhere for anytime soon. I was like, what? I am getting ready to leave for NY tomorrow!! She said no, I talked with a psychic and she said you are not going anywhere for awhile, you are a fighter. I wonder how long a psychic can see into the future? Anyway, that made me feel a little better, not sure if I believe in that but....at least it was positive. Any one else consult a psychic? I am afraid to call one myself, I know that won't tell you anything bad unless you ask but I think if it were bad it would send me into a depression spiral. Best just to live life until there is something to worry about.

Did you make it to NY?
-
Yes I did thank you. my hubby and I like to gamble so we hit two casinos. Got upgraded to a wonderful suite with a hottub and a view of the falls. It was a lot of fun!! No thoughts of BC just having a few drinks and good food.

That's funny Cheryl....no, I haven't, must admit it did cross my mind once
Glad you had a great trip. -
Wow Cheryl,
Just in the past several months I've been reading a lot about this, in particular books by Sylvia Browne and John Edward. I believe there is DEFINITELY something to this. I also just saw a couple episodes of Psychic Investigations that focused on cases that were very close to my area. The same psychic helped police solve two murders with uncanny insight. I too have thought about going to one but not to ask about myself (I'd be afraid I wouldn't like what I heard), but to see if they can connnect w/someone close to me that passed away suddenly 20 years ago. Never have felt closure on the subject. But I know there are so many scam artists out there, I just wouldn't know who to trust.
Take care,
Sharon

Sharon, my sister first called this psychic about a month ago. She wanted to ask about her husband who passed away last April suddenly. This person said things that only my sister or her hubby would know. It was spooky!! I want to call but like you I am afraid of what might get said. I figure I will just have my sister call once a year to see how I am doing. (lol) Hopefully she will keep saying positive things about me and my future.

btw Cheryl,
LOVE your new profile pic! Arabian beauty? Could you PM me the psychic's name and contact info? I'm also curious how much they charge. I saw one site that they charge by the minute and each one had a different amount.

A friend of mine goes to a healer. The healer is a witch-looking lady who diagnoses by moving her hands over you, and heals in a similar way.
When I got sick, he insisted that I had to come see his healer. It was after chemo and BMX and she did not know what kind of cancer I had. I wore foobs and clothes. She insisted that I was, at that point, cancer-free, and I choose to believe her

I will be willing to anything once!! Mind over matter. If we believe we will be ok, then we will be ok. Whenever I get a massage I always do a little chant in my head: Heal body, heal thyself...
I am going to try to find someone to do Reiki or tuning forks, that is supposed to help your body get in tune.
-
I've done reiki. They have it free at my cancer center. It relaxes me so much, they worry because my blood pressure gets low. Now I just make sure they check the blood pressure before reiki.
Went to a psychic 25 years ago, it was just before I was getting married. The psychic told me she saw me coming into a lot of money. Suggested I play the lottery. I think it was actually the wedding presents she saw. It was a nice amount of money.
I've thought about going again, but am a little worried I might not want to hear it. Also was told it is against my religion. I'm catholic. -
I definitely believe some people have psychic abilities, primarily based on my own experiences of "knowing" things before they happen. It is quite different from experiencing a coincidence, it is the feeling of certainity that something will happen and it does.
When I was a teen and young adult it most often happened around some boy I had a crush on. Just an example. I was in a department store in Seattle with a friend. A friend of my mine went to school across the state and I had lost contact with him. While I was a the second floor of the store I told my friend I was shopping with that I could feel that he was outside. We rushed downstairs and went outside. He was walking along the sidewalk. I had not heard from him in months and certainly didn't know when he would be visiting his family in Seattle. This type of thing happened quite often and I was never wrong when I "knew". I went through a spree of winning prizes. I knew I would win everything I entered and won 3 different prizes in 3 weeks. I was at a meeting and I didn't want to win their crappy prize, felt that they would announce my name next so I hurried out the door. Just as I was leaving I heard my name called.
It's not fun to know some things ahead time. Having a woman happily announce she's pregnant and realize she will lose her baby soon. Reading about Madonna having placenta previa and realizing that I will have that condition during my next pregnancy. Seeing a women with breast cancer seven years before my dx and having the image seared in my mind. Ending up with her exact same dx 5 years later.
So while I do believe that having psychic ablities are possible, I am highly skeptical of paid psychics and would never go to one myself. My sister and does and told me she asked a psychic about me. Then she didn't say anymore. What the hell does that mean? Did the so called psychic tell her I would be dead soon.
I'm with you. Best life your life and not obsess over what might or might not happen.

I am a professional psychic/tarot card reader. I tell my clients that no one should tell you that what they see it written in stone. It is just a guide of what you might expect and what to look for or avoid. You are in control of your life. If you are told not to do something, research your plans to be sure of what you're doing, then go ahead and do it! I believe in stressing the positive in my readings. If I see a train coming at you, I'll say "Move out of the way".

I've never gone to a Psychic but I do like to read my daily angel card. This is the website;

Thanks NevertooLate... I am just glad that this one at least told my sister something positive. I hang on to every little thread of anything positive about my situation.

They say we only use 10% of our brains so, if that is true I believe there is a load of stuff we don't know and are capable of doing....we've only begun to tap into what it can do. I've heard about studies that have showed the mind doing some amazing things. I'm not crazy but me and DH are linked in some ways, we'll have same thoughts or same aches without saying a word first, it's weird. It is hard to know who to trust though and I agree....not knowing is bliss!!.

I saw two, first said my cancer would recur and where, and the second one said exactly the same thing. It's Gods' plan and I'm enjoying life more now than ever before. They also said I'd recover. I still give more credence to my faith but I do believe some people are highly evolved, wise and can see things, the same things. Live each day to the fullest!!!

I went to a physic years and years ago, who totally freaked me out. She told me that the person that I was married too at the time was not for me and that I would eventually meet the love of my life and we would go through some health issues. Well, fast forward 13 years later, I was divorced, remarried, and received a BC diagnoses. Never really thought about her until I met my second husband and really didn't give it another thought until I received my diagnosis.
I have thought about going back, but honestly I am scared as to what they would see and tell me. The physics here tell us upfront if you don't want to know that bad stuff, then I won't tell you, but isn't that the kind of reason why you go? I don't know if I want to know! I would like to know the bad stuff in some ways so I can change what I am going to do tomorrow, but at the same time it is scary!
I think I will just take it one day at a time and if something bad happens, I deal with it when and if it does.

I talked to my sister this weekend to get some clarification. She said that she asked this person about me, if I was going to be around. The psychic said yep she is a fighter, then asked my sister if I was feisty and she said oh yea she is. Then the lady said I don't see her going anywhere for a long time. SO I am going to cling to that and hope she is correct.
