Have any of you heard of this?  I would like to know specifically, what the machine is called, and how effective it is, along with the cost.  I'm not personally interested, but my le therapist is.  I had never heard of this before a conference I attended on Saturday and now I can't remember the name of the machine.  Typical.  Undecided  I would blame it on arimidex, but it's all me.

Help, experts!

Suzy, was it a Hivamat, maybe? There was some research in Australia awhile back using full-body oscillation. Dr. Neil Piller, I think, if your therapist wants to look it up. But there are studies, and then there are studies, if you catch my drift.

My own take is that it's probably relaxing and it more than likely wouldn't present any particular dangers. I'd be interested in knowing if she pursues it, and what she discovers.

are you talking about a neurostimulator (also called a tens unit)?  I am having one put in me next Wed. Feb. 1st, 2012 for cronic LE pain.

Jackie, they were talking about a machine that wasn't really proven, not like a TENS unit.

Are you having it permanently place? Like a medtronics unit?

I hope it works for your LE pain, and you get some relief.

    Jackie & Kira

I've never heard of this! ... a TENS/medtronics unit... I have chronic LE pain and am looking for anything that might give me some relief.  I've gotten to the point where my PCP is now prescribing narcotics - it hurts so bad.  Can you point me to some websites specific to these units for helping LE pain?
