Oh I'm sorry! I bet you're pissed and hurt. Did he tell you? I'm so sorry....
-
No I accidently found the air ticket on his laptop. When I showed it to him he was shocked and did not even know what to say.
When I finally let him back in the house he says she was bought and paid for and it will never happen again. This all went down on xmas day.
-
I was so upset I forgot to print out a copy of the ticket. It has now disapeared.
-
Oh mum, I am so sorry. I know the pain you are feeling. It is good that you are pissed now because now you can heal. I don;t know what I would do in your situation.
-
Mum, you will go through all the stages of grief as this develops. You are at the anger stage which is GOOD. It will help keep you strong. It is when you falter that you may make bad decisions. I cannot imagine how you must be feeling. What a destruction of trust, something that can never be brought back. Does he understand this?
My heart goes out to you, sweetie.....with love,
Barbe

I believe he does realize this but he just wants our life to go on as before.Unfortunatly I am having a real problem with that.
-
It NEVER will go on as before. That is the decision you both have to make. Can you enjoy your new life? Can you trust him again? If not, for both of your sakes, a parting of the ways may be indicated for your mental health.
If you can get past (not over!) it, you can begin to build the next 32 good years.
And FYI, you haven't "lost" those years, sweetie, they are just clouded right now with tears....
