Lets draft a letter to Washington

vjsl8:  Thanks to your post, I did a lot of extra research on the PCIP.  I think I finally understand what is going on.  Obama set the PCIP in motion (and "it" does have the six months without medical insurance clause") and they put in the clause for the reason you posted.  Did not want the companies to get flooded with requests all at once.  In 2014, the PCIP will end and by that time each state is supposed to have Exchanges where we can get insurance at affordable rates and I cannot so far find that it will have the "six months clause" in it. 

What is so sad is that the "other" party is insisting on destroying Obama's Affordable Healthcare Act and I have had an on-going fight with them because they won't or can't tell me what they intend on replacing it with!  I have a family member who is an integral part of this same party and even "he" can't answer my question!  So let's hope Obama has found a way to protect this Bill so that "they" can't destroy the good it has in it for us.  What a mess!!

VJ:  I sure hope you are right!  My DD is on COBRA right now and that is so expensive!  Too many are suffering because of paying for expensive insurance coverage.  Let's just keep "hoping" and doing what we can to make sure Washington doesn't throw us down the medical drain!

I wrote my letter!!!!!!!. I took a little from Merilee and some from Carol and of course I added my own....now its ready to go....Keeping my fingers crossed that we have enough letters to make the impact we need.
