I had a CT scan on 12/27/11 and it found a spot on my liver. My ONC said it is too small to do a biopsy so I will have another CT Scan on 2/27/12 to see if it is large enough to do the biopsy. The waiting is killing me. I have some questions and concerns if anyone would like to chime in. It would be much appreciated.



Upon dx in 7/2010, my cancer was found to be low grade. That dx was only 1.5 years ago. So this wouldn't be cancer, would it? But then if it is to be cancer, then perhaps it isn't low grade and someone messed up the pathology data? Then again, if it is cancer, low grade, and caught early like this, then I could lead a fairly normal life?



I keep going back and forth with this. The waiting...

    Hey Mindy, anything like this could be cancer but having said that it also may not be.  The only way to tell is to biopsy and if it's too small to do that then it's a bit of a waiting game.  Low grade just means it's a little slower at growing but it still will and if this was missed at original dx, it just means that it possibly was there but just too small for anything to pick it up.  Now for the good news.....lol......yes you most certainly can lead a pretty normal life, the only difference would be is that you would be having some form of treatment most of the time and being as you are an ER/PR + girl that would probably just mean an AI.
