Bigger Foam boobs have made me feel MUCH better!

Options

I've been wearing a light weight foam boob for almost 4 years now.  Reconstruction failed on one side and I have a pathetic little implant on the other (sucky plastic sergeon).  Well, I kept feeling inadequate around women with big boobs. So, finally I realized that I could be one of the women with big boobs at least when my clothes are on...so I ordered 2 bigger foam boobs and now I feel so good.  Now I am one of the women with big boobs and all for just about $50.  Sure wish I had thought of this a long time ago.  I look so much sexier and I just feel so so so much better.

I was never this big before cancer but I was a nice perky size.  Also, because I look so very bad naked (my ribs show on my chest for God's sake), I just needed to be able to feel good about myself during the daytime hours.  Really we aren't naked all that often.

Such a change in my life.  I just feel so much more complete with bigger fake boobs.

Are  these enhancers or can someone who had a mastectomy use these? I have a foob that is way to heavy.Where did you get them I think it's important to feel good about yourself so kudos for finding what does that!!

LOL, good for you! I am loving having the choice of what size foobs to wear. In the years before my dx I had put on weight and my boobs seemed huge to me. Now I am back to small, which I like much better.

I'm glad that is working for you.  I am post BMX, pending fills on my tissue expanders.  I sometimes toy with the idea of wearing the post mastectomy cami with the foam boobs, but, ....I haven't yet. It's just so fake feeling, I'm not sure how they'd really look.  Maybe I'll check it out for now.

Whatever it takes to feel good, and to feel pretty.  This is a rough road, and we need to be able to hold our heads high as we move forward.  I hope you have several pair and several sizes!!

At first I felt a little conspicuous because I went from a B minus to a very full C...so I just wore a black T-shirt which makes everything look smaller.  Since it's winter I tend to wear gray and darker colors....but now I feel like I have always been this size.  I just feel like I am one of the women with big boobs.  Not rediculously big but big enough to feel really good.

Carcharm, it is just a foam insert to go in a mastectomy bra..it is by Trulife (trulife.com).  Mine is a size 8 but I have a small frame.  If you are taller or bigger you might need a bigger size to get that perfect boobs look.  It is called Tri-featherweight because it is light.  I have to wear a light insert because I have lymphedema and I can't let my bra straps dig into my shoulders at all.  In clothes, it appears to have a slight droop like a girl who actually has heavy big boobs.  Just love it.  I am wearing a smaller foam insert over my little implant....so my boobs have the exact same shape since they were made by the same company/same line.

I also went out and bought myself a new handbag and some cute new boots and sweaters.  I really spruced myself all up.  I feel like a new person.

This might sound odd but I think it is good for my relationship.  My hubby still doesn't get squat in the way of boobs in bed but at least in public he's got a woman who has a nice shape.  I even find myself acting "prettier" becasue I feel so much prettier.

Feeling good about yourself is definitely good for your relationship. More importantly it is good for you. I was never very girly, but since dealing with this cancer crap, I have made an effort to look good and pamper myself a little. It goes a long way towards making the whole ordeal a little more bearable, and it also is nice to be out and about without having my appearance scream "CANCER VICTIM!"
