CEA readings

My CEA reading 6 months ago was 3.6 and now it is 4.6

My Dr. wants me to have a colonoscopy next week, now I am worried.  All the other tests were good.  Has anyone had changes in their CEA readings?

    HI armadillo, I have not had my cea tested since first appointment. My docs now test ca 27-29.  If you are worried, please call your Onco and discuss. I am sure they'd rather speak to you than have you worry each day.  Good luck and I'm sure someone will be along soon with a similar issue.
