Headaches???
I'm sorry ladies I know you get a ton of questions like this but I've searched and can't find the info I'm searching for. I'm an 8 year survivor - stage 2. Lately I've been getting headaches everyday. Is there a pattern at all for headaches and mets? Like they usually come in the mornings when you wake up etc. Anything you can share would be great. My onc retired, so to ask an onc I'd have to figure out who to ask. I know they could be tension because my shoulders are tight but I dont know if they are tight because of the headaches or if the tension is causing them. It's frustrating.
Thanks for anything you can share!!!

Once you've had breast cancer, we never stop worrying about every ache and pain - I think your feelings are very normal. I really don't have an answer to your question but I empathize with your worry. Best to contact your PCP if you don't have an onc and have him/her follow up with your symptoms. Best wishes and hoping for b9 results.

There are a bazillion reasons why you might be getting headaches -- vision changes, hormonal changes, seasonal allergies, to names a few off the top of my head. You should call your internist and get it checked out.

Oh, sweetie, just go get it checked out. I'm sure it is nothing, but just ease your mind and see your doctor. That's what I would do.

Years ago I was waking up with headaches every morning-- really severe ones-- I was terrifed (and this was long before bc). A friend suggested I see my dentist--and guess what--I was grining my teeth every night--- and that was creating the headaches--- got a mouth guard and the problem was solved---I don't use it so much any more, but when I wake up with even a tiny headache, I start using it again.... and it goes away--- so there are lots of possibilities--- getting it checked out is always a good idea.

I also was getting headaches every day, and thought the worst. I had a brain MRI which was clear, it showed some sinus blockage tho, so I got some antibiotics for that, and hey presto! Headaches gone. It is hard not to worry about every little thing, so go and get it checked out and relieve some of that stress it is causing.

I was getting headaches every day due to hypothyroidism.

I was having headaches and nasua everyday. My PCM thought I was having symptoms of whatever was going around......come to find out a week later at the ER( after they had done a CATscan and MRi) that I had brain mets. I am home finally after emergency brain surgery! Please, go to your oncologist or whomever and find out what is going on with you! I start radiation next week and then chemo again. Hope this helps!
