Mccrimmon
I am 12 weeks out and do not have nearly as thick hair as you, plus mine has come back white

-
mccrimmon324...you look right about where I was at 15 weeks...I went as GI Jane for Halloween and that would have put me at about 12 weeks out and my hair was shorter than yours. My Oncologist was surprised at my growth after three months too.
-
@Ksteve-would love to see pics...you create an account on photobucket-upload the pics and then copy the direct link under the pic in your album-go to post a reply on this site-click insert/edit image (the image tree above) and past the direct ink into image url and it should show up.
-
@ksmatthews-I also have bang envy!
It seems like all the commercials on tv have these models with wonderfully long and shiny beautiful hair... Not sure i paid much attention to them before!
-
Ossa, my hair came back white then darkened to a nasty grey color, I think my natural red is coming in now but I put a temp color on it last week. Lightest golden brown.
-
Becca, you look great as GI Jane!
-
mccrimmon you look like you have more hair than I had at 15 weeks, or at least a lot longer. my hair transition linky for newbies.
-
Ok, I'm going to try to do a timeline. Except I don't have the dates. Unless someone can tell me if you get the dates from and Iphone pic. Its funny, I always thought I was somewhat tech savvy, but BC has shown me I suck! LOL.

" alt="" border="" hspace="" vspace="" width="" height="" align="" />Hey! This really helps me, I guess my hair is growing!
-
KSMatthews, you look great! I really hope I get curls. Lily lady, I am just inching along too. Mi am 5 and a half months out and don't have half of what KSMatthews has.
-
Thanks so much girls!!!! You all made me smile.
And I love seeing all the new pics!!! You ALL look great!!!
-
mccrimmon324 I hope you don't mind but you are a pretty woman and I can't stand to see your face all distorted. I'm reposting your images:

lago is right...you are a pretty woman!
-
Thanks for posting the pics!!!! I am coming on 8 weeks PFC and want hair so badly.... You all look beautiful!!!
-
Love all the pics. KS, Mccrimmon and Beccasgm - you all look great!
I'm 14 weeks PFC and hair is growing well. It's starting to flick a bit and has definitely got some curl/waves in the back. I now have to put product in it everyday or it looks fluffy. -
good job reposting the pics lago, I can never figure out the dimensions to put in..
-
Soo I tried a golden blond,,,, did nothing,,, tried a medium red brown... turned out orange

On the upside ... I have hair... looks like a lot more now with colour in it.. could hardly see it when it was white
Good thing I used one that washes out in 28 washes.. guess I will be doing a lot of hair washing the next few days
-
ksmathews, mccrimmon, becca all looking good!
-
I bought a mini flat iron too but am not having success with it.
ks, what brand of gel do you use? -
KS. Your hair looks amazing. I official have hair envy. I am 4 1/2 months our and I don't have half amount you do.
-
Lago, Thank you for the compliment and fixing my pics. I wish I could get a date the pics were taken, I took them on my iphone. I know the last one was 2 days ago.
Ladies, thank you for the compliments, everyone is looking so good!
-
I had every intention of taking pics and posting them this am - but woke up with dark circles under my eyes and a red nose thanks to a cold - gonna have to wait a few days! LOL!
-
@ksmatthews-when I put the link in, the dimensions come up automatically so I dont even mess with them. I just copy the direct link info and paste into the image field.
-
Beccasgm her photos were huge. I cut the size down by 1/3. Her math just seems to be a bit off for some reason. Even 1/2 size would have worked.
-
Wendyspet: My hair is also slow to grow on the top and center. I am going to try Nioxin and see if it helps. I am also taking biotin as a supplement and a good multivitamin. I finished chemo 18 weeks ago. My hair used to grow so fast, now it is filling, but not growing, I do not know why.
-
MargieC, are you still on Herceptin? Herceptin is DEFINITELY slowing my hair growth down.
Mkw1, my hair grew in like that, too. It eventually filled in, although it is still a little sparse at the temples. I've started using Rogaine to speed the process up. But I think it is the Herceptin, so I am trying to be patient. I finished chemo Mar 22, 2011, so I am almost 10 months out. It probably took me 6 months before I looked somewhat normal.
-
Does anyone of you knowledgable ladies know if you can color your hair blonde after chemo? Is it to harsh on the new hair???
-
I am only 8 weeks out PFC forget to post that LOL
-
@kennylynne-My husband (former hairstylist) bought a natural blonde by john frieda-semipermanent-mine was coming in an ash blonde-it took very well
