I have an appt for second opinion... which hopefully will justify a biopsy to rule out ibc.  As I read other postings I am reminded of times in the last couple of years where I have been too easily out of breath, had sharp pain in my ribs, and a very sore shoulder.  I had explained these away with a variety of reasonable explanations.  Should I tell the dr. tomorrow... or will this just confuse the issue?     PS  I am pretty stressed about the appt tomorrow.... what I will or will not be able to find out... and can't focus to do lesson plans for a sub:(  Good news or bad I expect I'll melt down after the appt tomorrow. I get to babysit my grandson... almost a year old now... that should help me pull myself together.

You should mention your shortness of breath and other concerns when you see the Dr. tomorow.  I know sometimes we think we're over-complaining but it does give them a better picture.  Good luck with your appointment and keep in touch.  Your little grandson is a wonderful diversion from the anxiety and help to keep us calm.

I will tell the doc... i'm making a list ~ hoping they don't find anything that will keep me from holding and hugging my baby:)  Thanks for your support!

Telling you to not stress out is like "Don't think pink".  You are already anxious and a good doc will notice this.  You are a consumer, certainly it makes sense to weite concise notes regarding concerns.  Make a decision to pull yourself together and you will begin to feel differently.  Glad you have the little guy!:)
