Herceptin Treatment Interrupted

Hello,

I have had four herceptin treatments and after my routine Muga Scan my Doctor said I had to stop for 3 months to allow the heart muscle to recover. He has not referred me to a Cardiologist as he said it has not got to that stage. Has this happened to anyone else?

    I have very little information about my Muga Scan but plan on finding out. Thank you for your help.

    I have been on a 2 month break from herceptin due to low muga, 42%. I am on the low normal range of 55% ejection fraction. Going to the Oncologist today will most likely reschedule a muga and see when to restart the Herceptin. I have to be on it as I am Stage 4.
