CT Scan in am.....
Hello to all. I had a CT Scan in May 2011 of Chest, Abdomen, & Pelvis. Dr. said all looked good. I was at one of my many Doctor appointments 2 weeeks ago, (Gastro). I still have feeling of fullness, but now shortness of breath and fatigue I cannot begin describe. He is looking through my chart and notes the scan said Fatty Liver and a 2mm pulmonary nodule in lower right lung. My Onc was the Dr. that originally ordered this Scan. I was like, what! Fatty Liver. I weigh 105. Dr said to me thin people can get fatty liver. Long story short I asked for another CT Scan of the same, C, A & P. I am scheduled for tomorrow. I am so worried if it could be cancer. Has anyone had similar symptoms and if so what were the results. Thank you all so very much.

Dear Westiesmom,
First of all, I love Westies (I have two Eng Bulldogs and am a huge dog lover).
Anyway, regarding your scan results, I don't really have advice/wisdom, but am hoping your symptoms are nothing sinister. Shortness of breath absolutely can be a symptom of pleural effusion, which can happen with lung mets. BUT, there can be other explanations too. As for the fatty liver, I don't really know...but if I think this can happen irrespective of cancer and be harmless (?)...I'm no expert, but hopefully someone else will chime in with info.
In general terms, there are lots of us who never have symptoms and are hit out of the blue with a recurrence. Other times, gals will get these spooky symptoms that end up being nothing...I'm hoping the latter is true for you!!
Warmest hugs and best wishes on your scan. Keep us posted,
NancyH

No advice... Just wanted to say I will be thinking about you tomorrow and praying that this is just your doctor being extra cautious, and that all will be B9. (((Hugs))) Deanna

Will do. Thank you both for your thoughts.

I weigh about the same as you and also had fatty liver on a CT scan following diagnosis of BC. I googled and there are apparently two types; one is related to alcohol. I believe it's just fat deposit and a benign condition.
Sorry I can't comment on your other symptoms but am surprised that your onc was not more concerned and you had to request a scan!
I hope you will be ok but it's best to get your symptoms investigated. -
I agree. Best to get some kind of answer. My husband feels I don't need any tests or follow up. His thinking is the Doctors just want to make money. My husband, that is a whole Soap Opera in itself!
