Please Pray For My Sister-in-Law
Dear Breast Cancer Sisters, We got the sad news that my husband's dear sweet sister has been given only a few more weeks and is now in hospice. She has fought this battle for several years now but it appears her body has had enough. Please pray for her journey to her after-life to be pain free. She has had a full life but 65 years old seems so young to us. I worry most about her daughter, who is a single mom and now is tending her 1 1/2 year old and her dying mother. I believe in the power for prayer so I am requesting prayers here. Thanks so much.
Anne

I will pray for your sister inlaw and her family, I'm glad she has hospice helping her. The dying process is difficult, but a lot of love and the holy spirit will guide your beloved family on this journey.
-
It might help also if you read on hospice.org of what the dying process is, so your family won't be frightened and they can comfort their mom and sister.

I pray for her comfort and her peace, i pray for your strength and your resolve. Much love to you and your family xxxx

Thanks for all your good thoughts. I saw my sister-in-law today (I took over food for her daughter and son, as well as for her.) It was a hard day as she is stopping all treatment and just getting pain relief. What a wonderful thing hospice is. I was so impressed. A nurse was there, a social worker and also many of her friends were stopping by. She was in good spirits and very lucid. I know this will change as time goes on, but it was such a blessing to sit with her and visit. I know all the prayers here are helping! Thank you all for your blessings and support!!

Praying for you and your family.
It sounds like your sister in law is in a similar situation I am. I am also lucid and worry if that would suddenly change.(good question for the onc, if I remember to ask)
comfort and peace to your family.

Hi Linda, I saw my sister-in-law Ann, today and she was great!! She looked fantastic and was so clear-headed. Her daughter said she is doing so well since she has decided to stop the treatments that were making her feel ill. She just looked and seemed to feel so well today. I was very happy to see her in such a happy state today!! Hugs to you Linda and I sure hope you are able to keep going and staying alert and able to interact with your family. I am saying prayers for you!!

It is with GREAT sadness that I must say my sister-in-law, Ann, passed away peacefully this afternoon. She fought bravely against this horrible disease and kept her sense of humor to the very end. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Please add her name to the list of angels.
-
Blessings to you all as I light a candle for your family.
