There is TONS of hope.  There is a forum for us young women with breast cancer on the website http://community.breastcancer.org/forum/27  I am 28, Dx at 27 with Stage 3 grade 3 BC, BRCA2 +.  I have had a UMX and I am currently on Chemo.  The best advice is to seek out the best medical center you can!  Feel confident in your medical team and you will feel soo much better with your situation.  Also there is another organization call Young Survival Coallition thats Also for young women.  Depending on where you live there might be a local support chapter!

I didn't find out I was BRCA a positive until after I had my UMX.  I will get the other side removed either at my margin revision surgery, or at my reconstruction :)  Normally, though if you know before hand you are BRCA+ a BMX is recommended.  The UMX did mean a faster recover period which is great with my son being so young! Not sure what to do about the link, you should just be able to search the forums though :)
