    Sarahbob,

I was thinking the same thing. I am so ready for a year free of bad news, and yucky treatments. I just finished the last radiation Dec 7, but I have weekly herceptins until August 2012, but with Chemo and radiation over, I feel , I can face anything Smile Here is to a fantastic 2012

Sarahbob - I had my cancerversary on Dec 17th.  It was a rough year for many of us, wasn't it?

Zumba - I'm with you too - 2011 was the year from hell!  2012 is going to be amazing!

MamaV, Zumba, Sarahbob.........and everyone else here.  2012 will be better for all of us!  I am hoping that there is a lot less drama for all of us.  I have one more hurdle now.  I am having back pain and my PCP has ordered an MRI on my spine.  He told me very honeslty he is worried.  I think it is nothing but will find out the results January 10th.  The MRI is this Wednesday.  Then I hope to be done with all of this.  Just my normal appoinments with my MO.

All of you great ladies deserve a badge of courage for what you have been through.  This will be your year to shine!  :)

Thanks MamaV...I know I can always count on you!  The 10th I find out the results.  A little more nervous about that day.  Will you be available to hold my hand?  Hoping to hear it is all normal, but my doctor told me if there is even a slight abnormality anywhere on the spine I go straight to a surgeon.  So just would like to have some company for the reading of the results.  We can calp and cheer when he says that it is all clear!  :)

I totally understand the back problem.  I have had 4 back surgeries.  It has been many years now, since the last one.  Had first one when I was 27 and the next 3 starting when I was 37.  Two of them were for fusions.  I was in a body cast for 16 months.  (Much better than hurting)...

Any way, you mention having your hand held... WELL, I bet you will have a cyber hand hold from a lot of us.  Let us know how it goes.

Special thoughts and prayers going up on your behalf....

Janis I will be there for you! If u need someone to "sit with you" who understands, PM your cell # and I will talk you through it (actually probably text u thru it b/c I will be at work) but I am here for you whatever you need! Really wish I was independently wealthy and could fly all over the country in my private jet to sit with a bc sister waiting for results! I really do!

I just love the woman on here- is it possible that BC causes an enlarged heart?

    ( in the metaphysical way)

MamaV....You are such a sweet and loving friend.  I feel it.  I love your idea, but due to our economic distress, I had to give up my cell phone.  Funny how everyone assumes everyone has one they are so common!  When you have to choose between dog food, people food, or cell phone...well.....let's just say that everyone is still eating!  Thank you so much for the sweet offer though.  I had an old phone and never texted in my life!

Merilee.....I agree.  My dream is to win the lottery, donate tons to my favorite charities, then just get a big truck to haul a big RV and haul the "kids" around the country and spread joy and share the money.  Of course I want to meet all of my BC sistas.  Dinner will be on me!

You might check with the American Cancer Society about a cell phone. In some areas there are foundations that will provide a phone and free service to those with health challenges, to use for emergencies...

Thanks so much Mama Vicky!  I am okay without a cell phone, no worries.  It is not a big deal to me.  I appreciate Vickie's suggestion though!  I don't feel I need one and have done fine not having one.

Thanks everyone for being in my pocket tomorrow!

Mama V...yep kids will make you stay on the ball.  Mine are long grown and far away.  I miss them terribly, but life brought me to Idaho for some reason.  Maybe to find my BC.  I am still sorting that all out.  This has been a very strange time in my life.  I know you are with me.  No worries!

katehudson25, good luck! everything wil be fine.

I just went for my 6-month follow-up mammogram yesterday. Got an all-clear. Normally did the mammograph and left with the result later. But yesterday, the technician left and had the radiologist to exam right then. It took a very long time for her to come back and I was getting nervous about it. I am glad there is nothing there. I do realize this anxious will probably forever - for every mammogram screening from now on...

    Hello, all August 2011 ladies:

I hope everyone is doing well. I have not visited the site for so long! Guess just moved on like a normal person:) I do miss you all and how we helped each other through those very tough times.

I just did my 6 months mammogram follow-up and everything is still clear. I don't need to go back until another 12 months...so, just like a regular routine now!

Looking back how we wished 2012 be a great year. I wish all of you having a wonderful year so far. I know I have...eating healthy - lots of vegetable, fruits, organic stuff, exercise every day, active in running (I run every morning because the weather is so hot...it's tough to get up in the morning but very rewarding feeling after it's done).

Katehudson, I hope you are doing great. And, I hope you still feel not taking the medicine is the right choice. I just did my annual gyn visit. My doctor questioned my decision and she said she would talk to my medical oncolgist to see if I should take evista instead. I just let her do her things. I don't think I would take any medicine now after made the decision of no tamoxifen to begin with. It has been over a year. What a year it was!

    Hi Jenny,

I just recently had a mamogram and I am fine. Glad that you are too. Yes I think not taking tamoxifen is the right choice for me.
