Haven't been in much to post, but I read posts lots during the week
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah my friends. Had a lovely day with dd's and sil/fiance here so I'm a happy camper. Have a pashmina around my shoulders that was one of my gifts. It's some blend that feels just like cashmere ... aaaaahhhhh
Thanks for the beach pics during these few months when we don't get to ours.

How has your day been sweeties?
We've had a very lovely, low-key kind of day. Went for a lovely long walk through our neighborhood this morning.
We had a delightful 'Skype' visit with my wonder-peeps and then when we hung up I cried up a storm. This is our first Christmas not to be with them. When the twinzees both asked for me to come and 'scrumble' them my heart just ached. This is going to take some getting used to......
We had invited our neighbors over for dinner and that was a nice distraction from missing my little peanuts. I'm gonna go put a collage of their silliness together. When I get it pieced I'll pop back over with a copy.
Anybody have an upbeat story from the day??
Much LUV and hugs to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had a wonderful few days with all the children and grand children staying here......busy, but good. Our Christmas day was fabulous! Very little prep was required as it was mostly done the day before and the girls volunteered to do the clean up once I have put things away...........now that was a present worth it's weight in gold!....lol. They have all left about and hour or so ago so it is just DH and I with the dog. Time to relax, reflect and rest.
Love n hugs to all. Chrissy

I woke up at 10 am and then went down for a nap at 12:30! The phone woke us up at 3:00 so that was good. Then a bit of TV and frozen pizza (cooked, obviously) and then we went to the movies. We saw Breaking Dawn and had a lovely time. My DH held my hand during the movie which I thought was very sweet!! A FABULOUS day!!!

wowsers Lisa! I've had the pleasure of watching Lisa take pics in Florida, and she just has an easygoing knack for the art.
I've been reminded the last two days that NOT going to work is much more fun than going. It's cold and rainy here today, and I got to lounge around and watch tv shows I never get to see, and run a couple errands early before the rain started, and eat a lot ... life is good
And I have 6 more days of the same before reality bites again on Jan 3rd! yayyyyyy
-
that was fun wasn't it Marlegal....good times to remember
-
Lisa those should all be printed and Framed.Absolutely beautiful.
-
Yah, well Mum, so should some of yours!!!! I fram a LOT of my pics. I probably have 30 hung in my home. I get to see that beauty every day even in the middle of crappy weather, I just have to raise my eyes from my monitor and voila!! A beautiful flower centre!!
All the kids got framed pics from me this year. I 'themed' the couples together so if they hung together they worked.
I've started pan pastels and now I know that this year they'll each get a framed pastel!! Who knew I had it in me????

That was down at the jetty during yesterdays storm. We've had several storms the 21 years we've lived here that have tossed huge logs right over those rocks and across the road the photographer was probably standing on to take that picture.
Lisa - That water is cold!
-
the camelllia bush next door is full of blooms..
-
I know I'm rushing it, sorry, but I came across this pic and if I don't post now, I'll forget about it tomorrow night!!! Thought it was pretty cool
