For those with NED or Great results

Where were you treated, and what chemo did you use?  I am having difficulty finding the best course of action and I see some people on here with Stage IV NED.  I would love to know how those results were obtained...I realize the therapy is different for everyone based on ER/PR status and HER but would still like to know..particuarrly if you are ER/PR+ and HER-.  Thanks!

    HI, I am Stage IV NED, but am ER/PR- and HER2+.  I was dx may 2011, did 16 weeks of Abraxane and Herceptin.  Scans in Sep 2011 showed NED.  Had brain MRI and more scans Dec 2011, still NED.  Continue on Herceptin indefinitely.  I was treated in Geelong, Australia.  Hope this helps.  Good luck

    I'm also stage IV ibc with bone mets.  (2.5 years out).  I had TAC (taxotere, adriamyacin & cytoxin) for 8 months once every 3 weeks.   Monthly Zometa for the bones & after chemo daily Femara.  I also had BMX/Recon a year after being stable.  ER/PR+, her2-.

    Hi dawny, great to hear you got to NED at Geelong. I'm from Brisbane but holidaying in Melbourne till 31st.
