It would be great if we could idenfity Mastectomy stores by area - they are so hard to find!  I'll start....Central NJ.....East Brunswick, NJ  WISE on Cranbury Road, Toms River, NJ Ocean of Hope, Rt 37 west,Toms River.

    Nordstrom's lingerie dept.  They have relationships with some insurance companies, and they'll file a claim on your behalf.

    In the Boston area, Lady Grace stores are pretty good (though it depends on the fitters in different stores). I've had really positive experiences at the Friend's Boutique at Dana Farber (anyone can use it).

    I highly recommend Ocean of Hope in Toms River! My experience with Karen has always been very positive, unlike my experiences with theBra and Girdle Factory. The B&G factory tried to get me to buy what they had in stock, not what I wanted. Also tried to sell me the "grandma bras". Karen at Oceans of Hope will work with you to find what really makes you happy. She will order stuff for you to try until you find what you like.

    That being said, different strokes for different folks.

    Alliton's Pharmacy in Port Jervis, NY has a wonderful fitter.  I didn't go through them because they didn't take me insurance.  Even still, the fitter was unbelievably helpful answering my questions and  was willing to continue to help even when we determined that I wouldn't be getting anything through them.

    Medi-Fair  in Middletown and Monticello, NY is okay for a fitter and products.

    She has clothing, bras, prostetics (sp?) and is very knowledgable on where to get advice/help in the San Francisco Bay Area.

    I had a great experience with Karen too. She will also direct bill the insurance company which Bra and Girdle Faqctory won't.
