I'm beginning to think it's me . . .

When I was originally dx with LE in 2009, I found a great therapist who did CDT and taught me  management techniques.  Eventually I'd gotten to the point where I was controlled enough to move to a 6 month follow up schedule.  Soooooo, I went to make my regular appointment last year and they told me she'd retired.  Worse, there were no other LE therapists on staff.

So after much searching and angst, I found a really dynamic LE therapist.  She was fabulous and took my LE management to a whole new level.  Sooooooooo, I went to my routine 6 month follow up with her this week - and she tells me she's moving to Colorado!!  At least this facility has other LE therapists so I'll start with the one she recommends, but it's not going to be the same.  She's not moving till summer so I'll get at least one more follow up with her before she's gone.  Sigh.

Really, I'm a very nice person - I don't know why LE therapists seem to be going to extreme lengths to avoid me!  Yell

...But I'll bet your DENTIST sticks with you for LIFE!  (Maybe this is a signal that you should move to beautiful Colorado???)

Mary, Jodi Winicour PT of Klose Training is based in Colorado--and at one point, I was ready to fly out for an evaluation....

I guess you can just appreciate the fact that she is so amazing, and see her again, and get a personal recommendation from her for someone new.

LE therapists, good ones, are just so important to us, and they face a real uphill battle with insurance and reimbursement.
