A new theory on the red blob

So I had my annual "what the heck" appointment with my plastic surgeon today. I actually really like her and think she is the best listener of my doctors.

Even though I have had two blood clot seeking tests in the past, she is a bit concerned about the arm situation.

She thinks I should have that "vein mapping" test that Dr. Francis was 50/50 on. She says the red bubble could be a small blod clot breaking up, and that it is possible I have an anyuerism in my arm. She says I should start looking for a vascular surgeon who specializes in lymphatics.

OY VEY.

On a bright note she was quite impressed with the "boobie wiggles" and I guess my breast was happy to see her because it was the least swollen it had been in months.

She's pretty sympathetic and not a denier on the LE, but she says it just doesn't sound like the arm bubble is infection related.

The tricky part is ideally I would have the scan while I am having a flare.

Thanks. I feel like if I had to have surgery on my LE arm it would be a disaster. I was the slowest healer and was resistant to pain meds after my breast surgery. (PS says I was one of her most extreme patients ever.)

I mean I have probably been walking around like this for a few years, it's not a brain anyureism, it's an arm anyurism. But my father had blood clots and ultimately died of a blood clotting disorder, so it's scary. One of the reasons I skipped chemo in fact.
