Alright, I just posted this in the CAM forum, but I know you girls would be interested in this, too. (You all know me, so you know I wouldn't post spam.) I did a lot of treatment in NYC and, while I was there, I took advantages of the services at the You Can Thrive Foundation, an organization that provides free and low-cost integrative care to breast cancer survivors. They are having a grand reopening in their new space on Sunday, Dec 4th - if you are in the city (or close by), it's definitely worth it. I received acupuncture, Reiki, massage, reflexology, and nutritional counseling during treatment and it REALLY helped. Services are available even if you are finished with active treatment, although priority is given to people going through treatment. I've never seen them turn anyone away, though. You have to call for an appt.

Here are the details:

Date: Sunday, Dec 4th

Time: 12:00 - 6:00pm

Location: 95 University Place, 8th Floor, New York City

Cost: Free

Phone: (you have to call and get an appt, you can't just show up):917-463-4267

Website: www.youcanthrive.org

OK, that's all - I'll post this in some other forums as well. The group is legit, so I wanted to let you know about it.
