where are you now , mum???
-
I am okay now that my BP meds seem to be working well.I workout as much as my joints allow and swim or snorkle when ever we travel.I am scheduled for another bonescan in Feb so no point in worrying until then.Any of you ladies have travel plans for the holiday season?
We are off to Montreal tonight for our company xmas party on Sat.Must try to get a workout in this morning before getting my nails done.I need the extra energy.Spent the day yesterday xmas shopping in the Chinatown district and was completly exhausted by 4pm.
I noticed here in Toronto there are alot of price reductions everywhere. Not too much spending going on here this year.It will be interesting to check out the Montreal malls tomorrow.
Will try to check back in from Montreal tomorrow.Have a great weekend Ladies.
-
When do you take off again, Mum?
Sending beachie-LUV to each and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday morning we take off for Roatan Honduras.I am so ready for the hot sun.
We are in Montreal today which is usually colder than Toronto but not this year.No snow here yet.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend
-
Faith - Welcome back to the daily schedule. Wishing you lots of good creative days to work on your next project.
Lisa - I am enjoying al the pics.
Mum - loved the lobster and the appetizer!!! No travel plans until the end of Jan for me so hope you enjoy all your travels and I am really looking forward to seeing the amazing pics of your travels.
Sorry I have been MIA again for a few days, I am trying to finish up all the quilts and other sewing I had planned for Christmas this year. Almost done, just 2winter scarfs and 3 quilts left to go! -
My Janurary-team friend has received her report and she does indeed have Mets to deal with -- in this second go round.
I will invite her here.... just for the solace of the beach.
In that several of our beachie-gals are Stage IV, perhaps if she decides to join us, your mere presence will offer her calm. I don't know if she will want to 'start' with another thread, but I will extend the invitation.
Meanwhile..... we are going to go drive over to the gulf so that I can write her name in the sand and take a picture for her. I think she'll appreciate that.

The sun is out in FL today -- and I'm grateful for each and everyone of you.
-
Awe Faith, so sorry to hear about your friend and she would be very welcome here or on any other thread. I'd be happy to chat to her if you would like.
Love n hugs. Chrissy
-
Thanks Chrissy.
I have invited Kat here to soak up some sunshine with us..... she has just started a new job and is attempting to move forward one day at a time. She hasn't ventured out much -- at BCO -- from our original surgery thread. It will be good for her to know that you're willing to chat w her, when she's ready.
We went over to the gulf yesterday so that I could write in the sand for her. This is what I came up with. I'll put it here, too, so if she ever comes over, she'll feel at home. Our very tight knit surgery thread had gradually become less and less active over the two years since all of our surgeries and then we've all been rounded back up to, 'circle the wagons' on Kat's behalf and that phrase has offered her encouragement.

The beach here in Roatan looks wonderful but the weather forcast here this week is not good.I will try and get some photos today. We are actually considering flying out early if flights are not too expensive. But my problem is that coral reef just offshore is calling my name.

Weather here has cleared up.The snorkling is wonderful just wish I had an underwater camera.
My DH got some great Macaw shots yesterday but he is having trouble finding birds here.
I see I missed your Birthday Faith.Hope your day was wonderful.
I will try to get some shots of the rare black Iguanas that you can see here.(endangered species)
Have a great day ladies
-
Mum, surely the dive shop has underwater throw-away cameras! I've used them before, they're cheap and do get great shots! I've been wondering why we haven't seen fish shots....
-
My brothers have gone diving in Roatan so that's why I'm assuming your resort has a dive shop...
-
Here's a peek at the beach from yesterday.
I've got a bunch of other goodies over on my blog-post today, if you need some sand between your toes.

Coconuts for all.
We are taking a mini-cruise at the beginning of the New Year.
I left my polka-dot camoflage bathing suit up in WI apparently: DUH!
So I need me some coconuts for certain!!!!
Can you get those fed-ex'd?
Or maybe I can click my heels.
The thought of going to look for a new bathing suit is over-whelming.
Uggggggggggh.
Maybe just coconuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs and encouragement to all.
Hope that everyone has had a delightful weekend. We're going up to see my parents tomorrow for a couple of days of hugging. My younger dau & her hubby are joining us. We're rendez-vous'ing to meet my nephew's nearly fiance (he's to ask her when we're all together) from Portugal where he's been teaching -- her first time to the US. FUN times!!!!
