It is funny that I had never heard of vestibular therapy( for the inner ear) before I was referred .yesterday I started the testing, lots of machines and one was for eye movement and tracking...seeing that crazy picture I messed with reminded me of that...more testing today
-
Does that therapy make you not get sea sick? Or car sick? Or air sick?
-
hopefully not get vertigo again

BEACHIES!!!!!
BEACHIES!!!!!
We did it! We all made it to the 750 PAGE PARTY!!!!!
We're just pulling out of the Tennessee International Reading Association's conference. I just gave my last two professional-teacher presentations for the year 2011. Oh happy dance in my happy pants!!!!!
Now just a mere 10 hour drive to sunny FL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone for your care & concern over my Jan-team member. I have told her of your support. MaryLou -- it's awesome to see you!!!!!
Know that I send you hugs all the time!!!
Samsue that last pic is breath-taking! Did you take it? LUV it & can't wait to see it on the computer when we're not in the car, with the light better.
The mountains are oh, so foggy right now, but the roads are clear -- so I am so grateful.

Let the party begin!!!!

Did someone say Party? I am bringing the seafood.

Or for those strange people that do not like Lobster I will grill up a few fresh Snapper.

Have fun Mum
-
Mum!!!!! You absolutely win the award for having visited the most beaches.
We are safely in FL. Travel safely and take tons of pictures for those of us who live vicariously through your adventures!!!
All the best to our page 750 peekers. If you've ever lurked, peeked, read along, now would be the perfect time to plop in and introduce yourself. We welcome anyone who enjoys the surf.
You may certainly add pictures, but that's not a requirement in any way. We're just a group of upbeat folks who appreciate the waves and the water together and in the process lend encouragement to one another.

I'm back in a daily way again to support our Team-Jan sister as she waits for the news of what exactly she's up against.
In any case, a quick swing by the beach is a good dose of joy on any given day!
I must download some pictures of our day over to the Atlantic before Thanksgiving. Certianly nothing profound, but I realize that some of you may feel the same way about the views you see on a regular basis and yet they offer me such a sense of calm and I am always grateful for the images.
The sun is shining today in FL. I think I have a tether directly.
I KNOW WHAT I CAN SHARE!!!!!!
I have come to grips with the selection of my next picture book!!!!!!!!!!! I've been considering the various possibilities for the last year, since finishing my recent work.
My husband's favorite song that I've written and recorded is entitled, "God Did."
I just about never, ever, ever sing it -- because its not 'appropriate' in most of the educational forums that I frequent and present. In any case, a couple of weeks ago I presented for a Christian Educators conference, shared my song and they collectively were so appreciative & encouraging.
The lyrics:
"Who made the waves in the ocean, the sand on the beach? The sun in the sky? The juice in the peach? Do you know? I do. God did. That's who."
So beachie girls -- I will count it as 'research' to come in and soak up the images.
I'm going to use fabric again. This is the first announcement that I've made.
What's today's date? This is the official date of the beginning. The last book took 5.5 years to complete, due to my 2 go-rounds w BC. I hesitate to even mention that. My job is to get started, we'll see how long it is till publication.
As soon as I hit 'submit' I'm going to go see what sort of fabrics I have in my stash..........
Oh happy day!
xx00xx00xx00xx00xx
I suppose you already know who I will dedicate this project to? ALLLLLLLLL of you!!!!!!!!
