octoberbaby, so sorry you're in pain. Had you talked to your Radiation Oncologist (RO) about this? I see you have mets ... are they bone mets?

I had very bad pain starting at the beginning of radiation and continuing throughout (and afterwards). My RO ordered a neck x-ray and then a bone scan to check for mets. My pain was caused by arthritis (I'm 52) as well as prior injuries ... my neck and back really did not like the position I was in during radiation, or the time I had to spend in my vehicle commuting daily. I made sure to get advice about appropriate medication for the pain.

    Hope things improve for you.

I had a lot of pain in my sternum and upper torso and I am in my 40s and yes I was exhausted too. This started about 2/3 of the way through my radiation treatment.  My RO said that the pain was not from radiation but my plastic surgeon said that during radiation your muscles are shrunk are shrunk (all I could envision is how bacon shrinks up after you microwave it).  I also had a tissue expander thus making adding more painful.  It lasted for quite a while and I could only find relief at night by sleeping in our recliner.  I don't know if this is what you are experiencing or not but it did eventually go away on its own.  Definitely ask your doctors about it but from my experience, you may have to ask more than just your RO.
