Thank you everyone so much for your support!
Things are looking good , the Surgeon told my family that
he removed a small lump and took good margins and the lump doesn't appear to be malignant. I go back next wed. for path report.
Hey Greg ~ talk about some good happy juice, and I have decided that if they gave darvacet to all the terrorist
they would forget what they were mad about and just take a nap instead ! lol
love to you all ~ -
Hi Carrie: Thanks for the update and the good news! Rest up, and take care o' yourself!
And in re: that 'happy juice,' it must be what I had last week (smiling just thinking about it, lol.)
Best to one and all,
Greg -
so glad you got that lump out of there...
like someone on these boards says...
the only good lump is one in the jar!
healing good thoughts going your way, rest easy!
laura -
Carrie:
Hope you are recovering nicely and very happy that it looks good so far!!
Alex -
Carrie: Sending warm wishes and good thoughts your way.
Laura: Welcome to the thread. Hope to see ya here more often. As for "good lumps," how 'bout a lump 'o sugar? ;-)
Happy Friday, everybody.
Greg
P.S. Cowgirl, you've been kinda quiet lately. Everything okay? -
greg, take a lump o' sugar to a lump o' coal any day of the week.
carrie, hope you are resting comfortably and healing remarkably.
cowgirl, are you off to austin for g testing? wherever you are, hope all is well,
we are keeping the porch light on for ya!
okay lets go out and make it a great weekend!
laura -
Yeah so far so busy. My oldest goat the red one has been really sick since about Sunday night. This morning was the first day he made a sound. Monday night we thought he was going to die, it was a family drama a 57 lb goat being hugged and cried over by three boys and a mom. Finally Daddy called and told us we had done everything we could.
So anyway I am still exhausted but the goat is finally better. -
Hi Cowgirl, see you've finally come clean about the goat lol.
Carrie hope everything is going well for you.
Greg, I could do with some happy juice.
Hugs all,
Mags -
He is doing so much better now!!! I saw what I wrote, it was a very busy time around my house. My oldest son has two goats, it is Hammer(red goat) that was sick. We got the vet out to him on Tuesday morning, and then Hubby and I went out, youngest got him up( you had to get him up he was too weak to do it on his own). And he ate, by that night he drank. After all this drama I did learn what to do the next time, experience is the best teacher. We are headed to feed this morning. I plan on washing and shaving Lucky!
You don't know till you shave who looks the best! Bruce our fat goat is an Arnold Swartznegger now! He is sooo buff, Casper who we thought was Arnold is more like John Goodman!
So the real work has begun, we have to run some harder than others. And to shave a goat wears me out! They tend to think they should not have to have their chest area shaved! This is the intense time when you have to do everything right to even be considered competition! The boys know it, and so Hammer has to not only be well but come up and be a little Arnold again! He looked fab before getting sick.
Shaved goats just strut which is so cute, they act like "I look so good".
Okay I know they are hungry! This week we are feeding the lamb and pig too! Their owners went on vacation! -
Hi everyone,
Wanted to update you, Denise is feeling better after her
visit to the ER, the tamaflu is doing the job!
I am feeling punnie but taking my antibiotic,
my incision is healing good! still running low grade fever
* Rats * (I was going to say crap , but that's cowgirls curse word!)
Mags- I have happy pills, but the only problem is you can't
remember your phone # and "where you put the remote"
when you take them! LOL
Cowgirl for Hammer-
{{{{{{{HAMMMER}}}}}}}
Laura - I am glad to have that lump in a jar no matter
what it is!!! Doesn't belong there take it out!!! lol
Greg - Thanks for opening the thread here, it is nice
to come and check in with everyone and to say hi , and I'm thinking of you!!
Hugs everyone~
Carrie -
Carrie: Welcome back, kiddo. Glad to hear you're doing well. Ditto for Denise.
Mags: Wish I had some happy juice to share. Only thing I've got these days is my buddy, Jim Beam. What's up? You can let it all hang out, here; we're all friends.
Cowgirl: Struttin' goats, eh? Glad to hear the little one is feeling better! Good luck getting 'em ready for the competition.
Best to all,
Greg -
Hi all,
Cowgirl loved your comparisons with your goats as Arnie and John Goodman. Hope you haven't hurt Casper's feelings.
Carrie good to see you're back. Sorry about the fever. Hope you feel better soon and good to hear that Denise is on the mend. I never remember my mobile phone number any way and can never find the remote control. So maybe with the happy pills it would work the other way lol - I'd remember my phone number and find my remote controls.
Greg it's that testing time of year again in both senses of the word. 18 month check-up. I'm not worried consciously but think subconsciously it's taking it's toll on me. Also I had a lump turn up on my eyeball. Opthamologist says it's nothing though so at least that is something.Lymphedema has gone down 1cm at least only another 1 to go. Still have to do ultrasound for fatty liver and check on womanly things lol. Also blood test for check-up - now you can see why I need the happy pills.
Hugs all
Mags -
Take those every day Mags, it seems like you need them every day! Great about the LE, not so about the lump on eyeball. Pace yourself Mags, you have done well with your load! Just remember to walk down that lovely road when you get home from all that testing!
Blue bonnets are starting to bloom, I wish I could send you some! -
Jeez Mags no wonder you want a happy pill!
I read ladies post about going to get test done
and how nerve racking -the waiting and all the what ifs
in the back of your mind. I about had a cow when I found that stupid lump and it consumed my thoughts , I had to work at pushing it back in my mind.
Hugs for you Mags while you go through the testing and waiting hell!! We are all here for you!! Come here and be silly with us talk about your cats and post pics
what ever it takes to help you through!
Carrie -
So finally I am getting an MRI for my shoulder. I go in Thursday evening. As you well know I will know nada(nothin) that day or for a few days!
-
Okay Cowgirl~
If there has to be something wrong
I am praying for a easy fx not a long drawn out
chronic thing...
Better yet I am praying you wake up in the morning and the pain is gone!!
love and hugs,
Carrie -

Time to lay off the lassoing! -
Hey everybody! Good luck with the MRI, Cowgirl. Keep us posted. Carrie: how're you doing? Mags: sending thoughts of happy juice your way...
Best,
Greg -
I am trying to not work hard but the show is in 3 weeks, and since they have done nothing for me. I have stuff to do, you would be amazed how much I can do with one arm!
-
Cowgirl good luck with the MRI - I'll be hoping that it's something that is easy to fix.
Carrie I'm going to go now and find a picture just for you.
Greg the happy juice thoughts must have worked as I was in a much better mood today. -
Carrie this is a photo of my boys fighting. This is a real cat fight lol.
-
This is when I met Linda and Sue from the chat room
-
Mags,
That is so cool you were able to meet with
friends you have met here!! I would love to meet
cowgirl and go feed the goats with her, but she is in Texas
and I am in Ohio
How are you doing have you gotten any tests done or results yet
still thinking clean scans for you !! Cat fight oh jeez!
hope there were no injuries, boy they make a racket when they're mad, sounds like they are just going to tear each other apart!!
I went to see my surgeon today for my final path results
but the results were not back yet as they had to send them to another Pathologist at Vanderbilt so I did what any woman who has been waiting since December would do....
I cryed!!
So Surgeon, while I was still there ,called Vanderbilt and this is the info I have so far ..
Atypical hyperplasia which means it is a benign conditon that is at higher risk or precancerous So whew!!
If any of you have more info on this would love to hear it
I go get my final report on Monday *sigh*
hugs,
Carrie -
Hey everybody: Mags: Kool kat picture! So...who was the winner (I've got my money on the brown and white tabby). Double kool that you were able to get together with some friends from here.
Carrie: Good news!!! Sorry you had to go through another delay (so typical, ain't it?), but the main thing is the preliminary result is very good, indeed--Yay!
Greg -
I have incredibly good news... today is the last day of radiation!
Since she's "triple negative," that's the end of the road. She postponed her February birthday (apparently you're allowed to do that) until tonight so she could celebrate her new year of life clear of treatments. Woo Hoo!
