Best creams for radiation burns?

I have bilateral breast cancer with two lumpectomies.  I am almost finished with radiation treatment for both breasts for 5 weeks and the 6th week of boosts to the surgery incisions. I have finished the 5 weeks of whole breast irradiation and 1 boost and now have just 4 more boosts left. I was ok until about a week or so ago. I am very fair and have large breasts, so now I have pretty bad skin burning and breaking down of tissue, especially under the breasts and on one SN incision so far. I know it will get worse before it gets better even when radiation treatments end. Does anyone have any ideas of the best products to use? Currently I alternate using 100% aloe (no alcohol), aquaphor (soooo greasy, yuck), silver sulfadiazine, triaminicinolone for itchy areas, and neosporin with pain relief on the open areas to prevent infection. I saw an ad for "My Girl's Radiation Cream". Has anyone tried that? Does it work? I am just looking for the best relief. Suggestions are appreciated.

    When I started radiation in July, many people were recommending emu oil.  It is available in health food stores and online at Amazon.  I used it and it worked amazingly well.

    I was using prescription cream (betaderm) where the skin hadn't broken down and polysporin where the skin had, and alternating those with a standard moisturizer, Glaxal Base. But after the 10-14 day "post-radiation period," I started using some oil I had on hand: Neutrogena Body Oil - Sesame Formula. By that time my skin was peeling but not broken down otherwise, so I figured it was safe to use. I massaged it on my wet skin after the bath or shower. It may have been coincidental, but the healing process seemed to go into overdrive! You might want to ask about light sesame oil??

    Dear Cissie, I have a friend who tried a spray called Evozac for rash form acne from radiation and Evoskin cream for radiation burns.... she swears by these products now... hope it helps you too....

    My mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004 and fought it for 7 years until it finally won last month. She was very courageous during those years and of positive high spirits.     Ask the radiation onc about Silvadene. It's prescription, works very nicely.

    I find the best relief for my mom was Radia Kit.  You can find it on Amazon.
